To break the curse of low paying job masked as God will

Good and Faithful Servant
To break the curse of low paying job masked as God will where is it actually human will to pit at my capability and I will not be happy working such jobs.

We hear your heart and we stand with you in this frustration, and we bring this burden before the Lord together. You are discerning something important, that not every low or limiting situation is automatically the will of God, and that human will and manipulation can sometimes be disguised as spirituality to keep you small or to profit from your capability without honoring it.

We want to gently correct the idea of a curse in this area. For those who are in Christ, we are not under a curse. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13. A low paying job is not necessarily a curse, but it can be a place of testing, a season of preparation, or at times a result of human systems, lack of opportunity, or lack of wisdom and open doors. We do not need to break a curse as much as we need to seek wisdom, break off any lie or manipulation, and ask God for clear direction and favor.

We rebuke any voice, including any human authority, that would misuse the name of God to confine you to a place that pits itself against the gifts God has given you and that would steal your joy and your ability to provide well. God gives gifts for a purpose and He expects us to steward them. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We have also been shown that the hand of the diligent makes rich Proverbs 10:4 and that a man skilled in his work will stand before kings, he will not stand before obscure men Proverbs 22:29. God Himself gives you power to get wealth Deuteronomy 8:18, and He delights to establish the work of our hands Psalm 90:17.

At the same time we encourage you to seek the balance of contentment and godly ambition. We have learned in whatever state we are, to be content Philippians 4:11, yet contentment does not mean we must remain where we are being undervalued or where our capability is being wasted. We are called to discern what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God Romans 12:2, and if anyone of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We encourage you while you are faithful where you are, to also diligently prepare, develop your skills, seek counsel in the multitude of counselors there is safety Proverbs 15:22, and actively look for the doors God opens, for He promises to supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and that if we seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, all these things will be given to us as well Matthew 6:33.

We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because of His finished work on the cross and His resurrection that we can boldly bring this need for provision and direction to God, and we urge you to place your trust fully in Him for salvation and for daily guidance.

We pray together now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of our dear one. We thank You that You know our capabilities because You gave them, and You have plans to give us a future and a hope Jeremiah 29:11. We ask You to expose and break off any manipulation or false spiritual pressure that has told this child of Yours to stay in a place that does not honor the gifts You have entrusted to them. We ask for Your wisdom and clear discernment to know Your will, for open doors that no man can shut, and for favor with employers and opportunities that will value their skill and allow them to provide abundantly and to serve You with joy. Teach them to be faithful in the present work as unto You, while You lead them to the work where they can flourish and be more fruitful for Your glory. Provide for every need and lead them into the place of provision and peace that You have prepared. We pray for a renewed mind and confidence that they are not cursed but blessed in Christ, and that You are their source. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We've been thinking about what you shared and we understand why this weighs on you. Wanting work that fits your abilities and lets you provide well isn't about pride, it's about stewardship and wanting to use what you've been given in a meaningful way. When a low paying job is presented as God's will for you, but it leaves you feeling held back and unseen, it's natural to feel torn and even discouraged.

Part of what makes job uncertainty so hard is how much identity gets tied to what we do. When hopes for something better keep getting deferred, frustration can settle in and make it harder to keep looking with energy. Talking it through with others who know you can help keep perspective.

One practical step that may help this week is to set aside an hour to write down your skills, experience, and the kinds of work where you feel most engaged and effective, then share that list with one trusted pastor, mentor or career counselor who can pray with you and give honest, outside perspective on next openings to explore. It can also help to update a simple resume and note two or three places where those strengths are actually needed.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see the desire to work well and to be faithful with the gifts You've given. Grant clarity to discern next steps, wisdom in decisions, and peace while waiting. Provide for daily needs and guide toward work that is a good fit. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your prayer concerning daily labour and provision has been heard, and there is much in it which calls for both tender counsel and earnest intercession.

You speak of a low paying place being set before you as though it were the will of God, while in your heart you perceive it to be rather the will of man which would pin you down beneath your capability and leave you without joy in the work. Here you do well to distinguish, for as we have often taught, as surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, so also the will of man is not ignored. Men are not saved against their wills, nor do they labour as mere machines, but the work of the Spirit is to change the human will and make men willing in the day of God's power, working in them to will to do of His own good pleasure. Pray then that the Lord would so work in you, not to make you rebellious nor yet to make you a mere drudge, but to make you willing to do what is right and wise in His sight.

Know this also, that all things are under regulation and have an appointed place in God's plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. It is foolish for a man to say, we will go, we will buy, we will sell, we will get gain, as though he could both propose and dispose without asking God's consent. Yet it is equally needful to remember that while many of God's purposes are hidden from us, there is a revealed will which we must not violate, and our best profit will consist in doing God's will. If a situation keeps you from honest stewardship of the gifts God has given you, it is right to seek the Lord's mind upon it and to ask whether this narrow place is indeed His appointment or only the straitening hand of man.

Do not hastily call that a curse which the Lord has not cursed. Satan said, surely God will curse him there, but never once has He done it. He has smitten, but the blow was full of love. He has chastised, but the chastisement was fraught with mercy. He has not cursed His people, for Christ has borne the curse for them. If you are His, you are not under a curse of poverty or of mean labour, though you may for a season be tried in a place that is small and hard. Even there, His grace shall be sufficient for you. There are many of God's saints who are weak and continue weak, yet in weakness are made strong, for when a man feels that God's decree appoints him to accomplish a certain end and that God's promise declares that he shall succeed, from a dwarf he rises to a giant by Divine strength.

Therefore take this matter and put it upon the shelf before the Lord, saying, I have done the best I could with it, Lord, and if it does not get right, that is now Your business and not mine. Fly to your God in your darkest season and He will deliver you. If there be no other ear that will listen, God's ear will always listen, and the heart of the Man Christ Jesus still beats with sympathy for His people. Ask Him to show you whether to remain and serve faithfully where you are, adorning the doctrine of God by honest and cheerful toil, or whether to seek a wider field where your capabilities may be better used for His glory and the good of your household. Power will increase as you use the little you possess, and He who has upheld you through ten thousand billows will bear you through this also.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, You know the burden of this Your servant who desires to labour with joy and with full use of the talents You have entrusted. We ask not for idleness nor for gain without toil, but for a place of honest and fruitful service. If it be Your will, open a door where capability and calling may meet, and grant favour in the sight of those who offer employment. If it be Your will that for a time the way remain narrow, give grace to labour heartily as unto You and not unto men, and keep the heart from murmuring. Change the will where it needs changing, strengthen what is weak, and let Your purpose, which cannot be broken, be fulfilled in this life. Provide what is needful, guide every step, and let this Your child know that You have not cursed but blessed in Christ Jesus. In His name we ask it, Amen.
