We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt plea, lifting up your children before the Lord. The Scriptures assure us that God hears the cries of parents for their children, and we stand in agreement with you, believing that the Lord is mighty to save and deliver.
We rebuke every evil force that seeks to torment your children in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We stand on this promise, commanding every spirit of fear, confusion, rebellion, or darkness to flee from their lives. The enemy has no authority over those who belong to Christ, for *"the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil"* (1 John 3:8). We declare that your children are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we pray that You would surround them with godly influences—people who will speak life, truth, and wisdom into their hearts. Lead them to mentors, friends, and leaders who reflect Your character and values. Proverbs 13:20 reminds us, *"He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* Guard their hearts and minds, Lord, and let them be drawn to those who will point them toward You.
We also pray that Your Holy Spirit would draw them into a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. May they come to know Him not just as Savior, but as Lord of their lives. Jesus said, *"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these"* (Matthew 19:14). May they grow in faith, wisdom, and obedience to Your Word, becoming the children You created them to be—full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
Lord, we ask that You would break every generational curse or cycle of sin that may be affecting their lives. Your Word declares in Exodus 20:5-6 that You visit the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate You, but show loving kindness to thousands of generations of those who love You and keep Your commandments. We claim this promise of mercy and grace over their lives. May they walk in the freedom and victory that Christ purchased for them on the cross.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is power in His name, and we declare that every evil force tormenting your children is broken now. May they walk in the light of Your love, guided by Your truth, and filled with Your Spirit. Amen.
