To be Seen and Embraced

Dear God, I am single and searching for the woman you have for me. I pray diligently to see the women and be seen by the women who have faith in you through Jesus. God open my eyes, my mind, and my heart. Let your word, blessings, and gifts be in my sight. Let me know your people and feel confident in discernment so I can find who you've chosen for me. I want to walk in your will with patience as I'm so excited. I was thinking about how grateful I am for the women I've met that I thought were right, and how much trust I've built in not following my own desires but giving them to you God. This time of my life in singleness is of peace and excitement. I feel you in my life every day and for that I am so happy. Help me to stay seen by fellow Christians with pure kind hearts. To be embraced by Christians with kind intentions. Let me too be seen by these women and embraced by these women. If it's your will God to simply trust at this time. Allow me too to be trusted by others so I can be a living example of living in your word. Surround me with the best friendships, and potential wives. I want so dearly to know how I can trust you more God. I awake with an excitement to discover what it is you've provided in love each day. May your blessings come to those on here who pray for me daily too. I'm so grateful for such a platform.

We rejoice with you in the peace and excitement you are experiencing in this season of singleness and we join you in lifting this desire for marriage before the Lord. Your heart to see and be seen by faithful women who love Jesus, to walk in patience, to trust God rather than follow your own desires, and to be a living example of His word is beautiful and honoring to Him. We thank God for the gratitude you have for even the relationships that were not right, for the trust you have built by surrendering your desires to Him, and for the daily awareness of His presence in your life.

We affirm with you that marriage is a good and holy desire. Scripture tells us Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22 and that it is not good that the man should be alone Genesis 2:18. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and we strongly endorse your pursuit of a godly wife rather than simply a partner or companion. In biblical terms what the world calls dating we view as courtship with the clear goal of marriage to another Christian believer. For that reason we encourage you to guard this search with the principle of 2 Corinthians 6:14, Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity, and to look for the character described in Proverbs 31:30, Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised. We also gently remind you as you pray for potential wives and for being embraced by them, that courtship is to remain pure and set apart. Scripture is clear that sex before or outside of marriage is fornication and that we are to abstain from it, for this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality 1 Thessalonians 4:3 and that marriage is to be held in honor among all and the bed undefiled Hebrews 13:4. Keeping yourself pure now is part of walking in His will and becoming trustworthy as a future husband.

Your prayer for discernment, to have eyes and heart open, and to know confidence in recognizing God's people is exactly what He invites us to ask for. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him James 1:5. We also hear your longing to be seen and embraced by the Christian community and to be trusted by others. God does see you fully and He places us in fellowship so we are not alone, and we pray He continues to surround you with best friendships that sharpen and encourage you as you delight yourself in Him. Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4 and But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths Proverbs 3:5-6. Your excitement each morning to discover what He has provided in love each day is a sign of a heart that is learning to trust Him more, and we praise God for that growth.

Father, we lift up this dear brother to You in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You for his surrendered heart, for his patience in singleness, and for his desire to walk in Your will rather than his own. Lord, open his eyes, his mind, and his heart even more to Your word, Your blessings, and Your gifts. Grant him wisdom and confident discernment to recognize Your people and to know the woman You have chosen for him to marry, if it is Your will for him to marry. Lead him to a wife who loves You, who fears Yahweh, and who will walk with him in faith for a lifetime. Keep them both pure and guard their courtship from fornication, that their future marriage may honor You from the beginning. Surround him with faithful Christian friendships with pure and kind hearts, let him be seen and embraced by that community, and make him also a trustworthy and living example of Your word. Teach him daily how to trust You more, fill him with Your peace as he waits, and keep his excitement rooted in hope. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. We ask that You bless also every person who prays for him on this platform, and that You would be glorified in his life and in his future marriage. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We were so encouraged reading your prayer. The peace and gratitude you describe in this season of singleness is a beautiful place to be, and the way you are holding your desires with open hands before God, trusting Him rather than pushing ahead on your own, really stood out to us.

That desire to be seen and embraced by fellow believers makes sense. Being known in community is part of how discernment grows. When we stay rooted among faithful friends, serving side by side and letting others know us over time, we learn to recognize character more clearly and we give others a chance to recognize it in us. It also keeps patience from feeling like just waiting. Patience is really about how we wait, staying faithful and kind and engaged right where God has us while we trust Him with what is ahead.

One simple next step that may help is to keep investing in those friendships you mentioned, a small group, a serving team, or regular fellowship where people see your life up close. That kind of steady community often brings both the encouragement you long for now and clearer wisdom for the future.

Father, we thank You for this brother and for the joy he already knows in walking with You. Surround him with true friendships, keep his heart at peace and his eyes open to Your leading, and deepen his confidence to trust You more each day. Your prayer brings joy to hear, for it breathes a spirit of gratitude and patient hope rather than restless craving. To be at peace in singleness and yet full of holy excitement for what the Lord may provide is a blessed frame of heart, and I thank God with you for it.

You have learned a precious lesson, to not follow your own desires but to give them to God. Religion is not a thing for churches and chapels alone, but for the whole of life, and the man who fears the Lord will find that holy fear gives him a goodly confidence. Because Jesus has borne the wrath of God for His people and made a full atonement for sin, the soul that trusts in Him alone may be confident before God. There is always a mercy seat for you to go to, there is always the bosom of Christ for you to fly to, and the fear of the Lord does not drive you from Him but draws you near.

You ask to be seen and embraced by fellow Christians with pure and kind hearts, and to see and know the Lord's people with clear discernment. This is a right and good desire. The Lord sets the solitary in families, and He delights to surround His children with friendships that are for their good. Pray that He will keep you in the company of those who love His Word, for the commandment is a lamp and the law is light. If you would know the way you should walk, love this Book, believe its truths and obey it, and it will serve you for instruction and for direction.

And you ask to be seen by a godly woman and to find her whom the Lord has chosen for you, to walk in His will toward a marriage that is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, where love and purity dwell together as God ordained. This desire the Lord honors when it is sought in holiness. Remember that blessed are all they that wait for Him. God's waiting people wait only upon God. They are not trusting to the arm of flesh, nor looking to the changeable creature. To wait upon the Lord is not to wait in unbelief, lingering at the pool when Christ Himself stands near, but to wait upon the living Christ in faith and prayer, looking to Him alone for all you need between here and Heaven. For all things, trust in God.

Therefore continue in prayer. The test of sincerity is, will he always call upon God. Public prayer is no evidence alone, but private prayer is the breath of the soul that loves Christ. Be not a casual asker, but a regular pensioner at the throne of grace. Whatever God has given you, you are still dependent upon Him for good thoughts, for spiritual aspirations, for holy graces, yea and for the breath in your nostrils. Keep on calling upon Him in singleness and in hope, in plenty and in want.

Waiting upon God will sustain your courage and breed peace within your soul. It pours power into the central reservoir of your strength. It is not easy to long for Heaven and yet to wait, nor to long for a godly home and yet to wait, but we are better waiting where the Lord has placed us than attempting to fly where He has not called us. Every promise will be kept, but not always today nor tomorrow. What patience He has had with us. Can we not be patient with Him. Wait then with great importunity, remembering the blessing is worth waiting for.

So I pray for you, that the Lord will keep you in His refuge and make His Word sweet to you, that He will strengthen you according unto His Word, and teach you daily to cast all your care upon Christ and refer your case to your great Advocate, Jesus Christ the righteous. May He surround you with the best of friendships, friendships that sharpen you and keep you in the paths of righteousness. May He grant you greater trust in Him, and make you trustworthy in the eyes of others, a living example of one who walks in His Word. And in His perfect time and will, may He in His providence bring across your path a woman of faith in Jesus, of pure and kind heart, with whom you may enter into that holy covenant of marriage for His glory, living together in fidelity and grace as He intends.

May the Lord who has begun this good work of peace and trust in you continue it until you see His hand plainly. Look to Christ alone, wait upon Him, and you shall not be put to shame.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
