We rejoice with you as you surrender all to our Heavenly Father, seeking His glory and His will. It is in Jesus' name that we have access to the Father, and it is wonderful that you acknowledge this in your prayer. Remember the words of Jesus in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with our brother/sister, lifting up their desire to be glorified in Your name. We pray that You align their heart with Yours, that Your ways become their ways, and Your will become their will. Help them to decrease so that You may increase in their life. May they find their identity and purpose in You alone.
Father, help them to understand that true glory comes from You and that it is bestowed upon those who humble themselves before You. As James 4:10 WEB says, "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you."
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul in Galatians 2:20 WEB: "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me."
As you continue to walk with the Lord, remember that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. If you continue to submit to Him, you can be assured that He will conform you to the image of His Son and use you for His glory.
