To always meet me at the point of need Lord

We join you in this humble and beautiful prayer before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for coming boldly yet humbly to His throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

We are encouraged by your heart of humility, for the Word tells us James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you. and also 1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Your desire for the Lord to meet you at the point of your need is exactly what He promises to do for His children.

Scripture assures us that our Father knows our needs before we even ask and delights to provide. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And Hebrews 4:16 invites us Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need. We are also reminded in Matthew 6:33 But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

We rejoice that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We pray together with you now.

Heavenly Father, we humble ourselves before Your mighty hand together with this dear one. We thank You that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and that You see every need, spoken and unspoken. Lord, we ask that You meet this dear one at every point of need, spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially, according to Your perfect will and Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Grant wisdom, peace, and provision in due time, and help us to seek Your Kingdom first and to trust in Your unfailing care. Strengthen faith to wait upon You and to rest in Your grace for help in time of need. We ask all of this in the almighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk humbly before Him, to cast every care upon Him daily, and to trust that He who cares for you will not withhold any good thing as you seek Him first.

We were grateful to read your prayer and the humility in it. Coming before the Father simply and honestly, asking Him to meet you right where the need is, is a good place to be.

We hear that longing to know God is not distant but present and able to help. What encourages us is remembering who He is. He is not only immense and beyond us, He is also personal and near, the One who sees what you need even before you put it into words and who has promised to be with His people. That promising presence is what makes it possible to keep bringing every need to Him without pretending or holding back.

One small step that may help in the days ahead is to make that prayer more specific as you go. When a need rises up, whether it is provision, strength, wisdom for a decision, or peace in your heart, name that one thing plainly before the Lord that day and ask Him to guide you in it. It can keep prayer from feeling general and help you notice how He is working.

Father, we thank You for this humble heart that is seeking You. You know every need spoken and unspoken. We ask You to draw near, to give wisdom and peace for each day, and to help our friend walk closely with You and trust Your care. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your humble prayer is a wise and blessed one, for it confesses need and looks to the right place for supply. David in his troubles knew where to turn for consolation, and that is no small piece of wisdom. The eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy, and a sound hope in that mercy feels its own need and rests not upon a shadow of trust in self, but entirely upon the merit of Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation and every good gift must come.

Remember that the Lord is the great I AM. He is today in the past and today in the future as well as today in this present moment. With Him one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day, so His time for answering is not measured by our haste. What seems long to us is but as a moment with Him, and He never comes too late nor too early. If you walk in darkness and have no light, trust in the name of the Lord and stay upon your God, for if that overflowing well of His mercy could ever dry up, you would indeed be without hope, but it never shall.

May the Lord hear your cry and meet you at the point of your need according to His infinite wisdom and love. May He give you grace to hope humbly in His mercy through Jesus Christ alone, to hate sin and to love what is right, and to find that the one day of His favor in the heart is better than a thousand years spent elsewhere. May He supply what you lack, comfort you in trial, and keep you looking to Christ as your all in all, till you shall praise Him for how perfectly He has supplied you.

We join our prayer with yours, that the Father would grant this for His glory and your good, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your humble prayer has been heard and it is good that you have come before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we are saved and no other way to the Father except through Him.

God has already shown His goodness to you in many ways. He created you when you were not, He gave you life and breath, He made the heavens and the earth for your sake, and He crowns His people with glory and honor. If He has done such great things, how much more will He care for your daily needs. As it is written, He is the One who feeds you from your youth up, and His gifts pour out as from fountains. For this reason you can put off anxious care and trust Him.

When you ask Him to meet you at the point of need, remember to ask also for wisdom to know what you truly need. Scripture teaches us to make provision for the body for health, not to fulfill unrestrained desires, and to spend our greatest energy on spiritual things. God knows the difference between what we want and what we need, and like a good Father He gives what is best, even when it comes through trial or waiting, to keep us humble and to make us trust Him more.

So continue in prayer with thanksgiving, not only for one day but for all your life. Honor Him not only with words but with your deeds and your life, for He does not need our honor but we need His grace. Trust that He sees your need, He hears your voice, and He will provide according to His perfect love and righteousness.

I pray for you now, that the Heavenly Father, in His mercy, will supply what you lack according to His wisdom, strengthen your faith, keep you from excess and from want, and lead you to seek first His kingdom. May He give you contentment, health for your body and growth for your soul, and may you rest in the care of Christ who alone is our hope. In Jesus Christ almighty name, Amen.

Your prayer is heard, and your humble heart before the Father is precious to Him. That cry to meet you at the point of need comes from the deep place in every person that knows we need God.

That need is at the very center of who we are. We may try to cover it, but inside we are all asking where can I find God. The good news is that God is not confined to one place. He is Spirit, and He surrounds you wherever you are. Scripture says in Him we live and move and have our being. He is not far from any of us, and He has made a way to dwell within every child of His through the new birth, being born again by the Spirit of God. To worship and to meet with Him is not about going to a special location, but about coming to Him in spirit and in truth, because He is present with you now.

As you ask Him to meet your needs, remember that the greatest need any of us has is salvation. The greatest miracle God does is to free us from the power of sin and bring us into His kingdom of light. Jesus came to do first things first, to give us new life and a living hope through His resurrection from the dead. If you have trusted in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, you have already received the beginning of an eternal inheritance, and His Spirit lives in you.

God is eternal and dwells outside of time. We live in seconds and days, but He lives in eternity and sees all things at once. Because of this, His answer does not always come by our clock. The saints of old inherited the promises through faith and patience, and we also have need of patience after we have done the will of God, that we might receive what He has promised. It can feel like He delays, but He is never late. He is working in His perfect time to bring beauty out of every situation, like a potter shaping clay. We often grow the most not in times of ease, but in trials when we learn to trust Him as our refuge, our fortress, and the One in whom we can rest.

He has also given His Word and His Spirit to sustain you. As you yield your life to Him and keep His Word in your heart, the Holy Spirit will make that Word alive and bring it back to you in the hour of need, so that hope abounds within you. Instead of only rushing to list what you need, take time to acknowledge who He is, His greatness and power, and then bring your needs to Him with trust.

May the Lord meet you in every true need according to His wisdom and grace. May He strengthen your faith to wait patiently for His timing, form Christlike character in you through every circumstance, and give you a deeper awareness of His surrounding presence. May you know the comfort of being born again, forgiven, and kept by Him, and may you find Him to be your strength and protection as you call upon Him and trust in Jesus Christ. Amen.
