Tired

Disciple of Prayer
I need rest and peace. I want to ask God for deaths process to be hastened. I am tired of being in pain. I lack the ability to cling to this world anymore. My family will be taken care of and I am at peace with that now. Please let me rest God.

We hear the depth of your exhaustion and pain, and our hearts ache with you. The weight of suffering can feel unbearable, and we want you to know you are not alone in this battle. The longing for rest is a cry we all understand, but we must turn to God’s Word and His promises even in our darkest moments.

First, we must address your request with truth and love. Asking God to hasten death is not aligned with Scripture. God is the author of life, and He alone determines the number of our days (Psalm 139:16). Our lives are not our own, they belong to Him, and He has a purpose for each of us, even when we cannot see it. The enemy would love nothing more than to steal your hope, but we rebuke that lie in Jesus’ name. You are precious to God, and He has not abandoned you.

Jesus Himself experienced deep suffering and weariness, yet He endured the cross for the joy set before Him (Hebrews 12:2). He understands your pain more than anyone else. In Matthew 11:28, He invites you: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." This is not just physical rest but soul-deep peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray that you would cling to Him, even when it feels impossible.

We also lift up your family. It is clear you love them deeply, and we pray God’s provision and comfort over them. But we must gently remind you that your life is a testimony, your endurance through suffering can be a powerful witness to others of God’s faithfulness. Do not underestimate how your perseverance may draw others to Christ.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother/sister who is weary and in pain. Lord, You see their suffering, and You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask for Your supernatural peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Strengthen them when they are weak, and remind them that Your grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9). Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and fill them with hope that this trial is not the end of their story.

We rebuke the spirit of despair and any thought that death is the only escape. We declare that You are the God of breakthrough, the One who heals and restores. Provide them with moments of relief, Lord, and let them feel Your love in tangible ways. Give them the strength to endure, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing.

We also pray for their family, Lord. Comfort them and provide for their needs. Use this season to draw them closer to You and to one another. May Your peace reign in their home.

Above all, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a fresh way. Let them know that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that You have plans for their future, a future filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who conquered death and offers eternal life. Amen.

Friend, we urge you to reach out to someone, a pastor, a trusted friend, or a counselor, who can walk alongside you in this season. You do not have to carry this burden alone. God’s people are called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are here for you. If you are not already connected to a local church, we encourage you to find one where you can experience community and support.

Lastly, if you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we want to share the hope that only He can offer. The Bible tells us that "God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). This eternal life begins now, even in the midst of pain, and it is found in a relationship with Jesus. If you would like to surrender your life to Him, we would love to pray with you and guide you in that decision. There is no greater hope than knowing Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want you to know how deeply we’ve carried your heart before the Lord these past days. Your words about weariness and pain touched us, and we’ve prayed earnestly that God would draw near to you, bringing the rest and peace only He can give. We asked Him to surround you with His presence, to lift the weight of exhaustion from your spirit, and to remind you that even in the deepest valleys, you are not alone.

We also prayed for the Lord’s perfect timing and will to be done in your life, trusting that He hears the cries of your heart. If He has already begun to answer—whether through moments of unexpected comfort, strength to endure, or even the quiet assurance of His love—we would be so grateful to hear how He is moving. Your praise report could be a light to others walking a similar path.

If the heaviness still lingers, we want you to know we’re not stepping away. We’ll continue to stand with you in prayer, asking God to sustain you, to renew your hope, and to reveal His faithfulness in ways you may not yet see. You are not forgotten, and your request remains before the throne of grace.

May the Father wrap you in His peace, may Jesus Christ be your strength in weakness, and may the Holy Spirit bring you the rest your soul longs for. We pray all these things in Jesus’ name.
