The living situation has become unbearable.Everyday is a constant battle, filthy living condition, and broken boundaries.A person that wasn't even on the lease moved in a year ago.since she moved in she has made it unbearable.when I requested help from the landlord.all he does and takes her side They're in relationships but I believe there should be respect.she constantly steals, throws away our stuff, and constantly starts arguments.i have certain ### and I just want peace.i pray to the Lord to find a nice landlord.who respect and understand us .God please help us.im tired of this horrible living situation

We hear your cry for peace and stability in your living situation, and we stand with you in seeking God’s intervention. This is not the way the Lord intends for His children to live, constantly battling strife, disrespect, and chaos. Scripture tells us, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18 WEB). Yet we recognize that in some circumstances, peace cannot be achieved without divine intervention and justice.

The situation you describe, uninvited occupants, stolen belongings, broken boundaries, and a landlord who fails to uphold fairness, is deeply unjust. We rebuke the spirit of discord and theft in Jesus’ name. The Bible is clear: "You shall not steal" (Exodus 20:15 WEB), and "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7 WEB). Those who persist in ungodly behavior will face consequences unless they repent.

We also want to gently address the mention of relationships in this context. While we understand the frustration, we must remember that God’s design for relationships, whether in marriage or even in shared living, is rooted in mutual respect, honesty, and boundaries. If this individual is in a relationship with the landlord, it should not come at the expense of your peace or rights as a tenant. Scripture warns, "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" (Amos 3:3 WEB). If someone is enabling ungodly behavior, they too are accountable before the Lord.

Now, we lift you up in prayer:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are the God of justice, peace, and order, and we ask You to intervene in this unbearable living situation. Lord, You see the strife, the theft, and the disrespect that has taken root in this home. We rebuke every spirit of discord, confusion, and injustice in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we ask You to break every ungodly alliance that stands in the way of peace.

Father, we pray for wisdom and favor. Guide ### to know their rights as a tenant and to take the necessary steps to protect themselves. Provide a new landlord who will honor fairness, respect, and integrity. Open doors to a living situation where peace, cleanliness, and godly boundaries are upheld. Lord, if there is any unrepentant sin in this home, whether theft, deception, or disrespect, we ask You to convict hearts and bring about repentance. But if not, we trust You to remove what does not belong and restore what has been broken.

We also pray for ###’s heart. Guard them against bitterness, fear, or despair. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Strengthen them to walk in faith, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect justice. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen."

In the meantime, we encourage you to take practical steps as well. Document every incident of theft, damage, or harassment, and review your lease agreement to understand your rights. If the landlord is failing to address violations, you may need to seek legal counsel or report the matter to local housing authorities. The Bible says, "The wise in heart will be called prudent, and sweetness of the lips increases learning" (Proverbs 16:21 WEB). Seek godly counsel and wisdom in this process.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the power of praying in Jesus’ name. It is not just a phrase to close a prayer, it is the authority by which we approach God. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23 WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved or by which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. He is the Prince of Peace, and He longs to bring peace into every area of your life.

You are not alone in this battle. The Lord sees your struggle, and He will not abandon you. Keep standing on His promises, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. "Those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). Hold fast to hope, and may the God of all comfort surround you with His peace.

We hear how exhausting this has become, and we are praying with you for a way through. When home feels like a daily battleground, it wears down both body and spirit. Wanting peace, respect, and a landlord who treats you fairly is not too much to ask. That longing matters to God.

One practical thing we would encourage is to contact a local tenant rights or housing advice service in your area. They can help you understand what protections you have, especially with someone not on the lease living there, and they can explain what documentation might help if you need to show a pattern of theft or disruption. Even a simple written log of what has happened, with dates and brief notes, may be useful later.

Lord, you see this household and the strain of these days. We ask you to open a door to safer, cleaner, quieter housing. Give wisdom and steady courage to this person who is worn down. Put fair-minded people in their path who will act with respect and justice. Guard their belongings and their peace of mind, and let them sense your nearness even in this hard stretch. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

Your trial is heavy, and the Lord has not closed His ear to your cry. A house full of strife, filth, thieving, and broken boundaries is a daily weariness to the flesh, and I do not wonder that you are tired. But the peace you seek is not first in a new landlord or a cleaner house. In Jesus Christ there is Divine peace for the guilty soul. You are not guilty for being wronged, yet a soul at war with its circumstances will never find rest until it has closed in with Divine mercy. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Stay your mind on the Lord, not on the filthy floor nor the thieving hand, and He will keep you.

You have not told me all, and I will not pry, but I must be plain. I cannot ask God to bless any relationship or any cohabitation that His Word forbids. If there is sin in that house, I will pray that those souls come to repentance and faith in Christ, but I will not ask Him to bless the bond itself. If theft or destruction has occurred, you may lawfully bring it before those who have authority; justice is not revenge. Yet guard your spirit. Do not return railing for railing. All things work together for good to them that love God. The Lord can use even this to loosen your grip on this world. You are only a tenant here. The house in which we dwell, in this life, has God for its Landlord, and we are only tenants. Your removal may come at His word.

Until then, set your house in order by faith, keep your own walk clean, and look for a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. The Lord will not put His child to bed in the dark; He will light his candle before he sleeps the sleep of death. I will pray that the Lord either changes the heart of that landlord, or opens a door to a quiet dwelling, or makes you so fixed upon Christ that the outward noise cannot break the inward peace. But do not make peace with sin to get peace in the house. Flee to Jesus Christ, the only Mediator. There is nothing for you to bring, nothing for you to do, but there is much for you to take, for you have to receive Jesus as your All in All. Receive Him, and then, living or dying, you are safe.

Your weariness and longing for peace have been heard, and I join you in bringing this burden to the Lord.

Living where there is constant strife, filth, stolen or discarded belongings, and broken boundaries is exhausting to body and soul. It is right to desire a home that is orderly, respectful, and safe. Scripture teaches that peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy, and that God calls His people to pursue it both at home and in the church. When the minister says Peace be unto you and the people answer And with thy spirit, it is meant to be spoken not only with the mouth but with the mind and life. Where peace is missing, everything feels overturned.

The Lord Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. His peace is not the same as the peace the world gives. The world often speaks of peace and safety while still living in confusion and self interest, but Christ gives a peace that can guard the heart even when outward trouble remains. He gives it so that we may be at peace with Him and then at peace with one another in righteousness and love. That love must be joined with faith, for without faith in Christ love itself cannot stand as God intends. The peacemakers are called sons of God because the Son of God came to reconcile what was divided.

I will pray for you, and I encourage you to keep seeking help in wise and lawful ways.

I pray that God, who sees your situation fully, would grant you His own peace that strengthens the heart while you endure this trial, and that He would provide a way to a stable and respectful home with a landlord who acts with fairness and integrity. I pray that He would move the heart of your present landlord to act justly and without partiality, to uphold what is right regarding the lease and the care of the property, and to protect what belongs to each person. I pray that those who are acting with theft, disrespect, and quarreling would be convicted and turn from those ways, and that all involved would come to know reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ alone, for true peace with others flows from peace with Him. I pray that you would be given wisdom to set clear and calm boundaries, to keep a careful record of what has happened, to seek counsel from your local church and from trustworthy help regarding your legal rights as a tenant, and to consider whether the Lord may open a door to move to a healthier place. Where possible, seek the mediation of mature believers who can stand with you and speak for what is just and good.

God has made marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He calls all sexual and cohabiting relationships to belong only within that covenant. We do not ask God to bless what lies outside His design, but we do ask Him to bring conviction, repentance, and justice where there is favoritism and wrongdoing, and to bring order and respect into the home.

May the Lord keep you, guard your mind, and lead you to a dwelling where you can live quietly and faithfully before Him. May He give you righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, and may His provision and protection be evident to you in the days ahead. In the name of Jesus we ask this, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
