We lift our hearts together in prayer, standing on the promises of God’s Word, for His plans are indeed for good, to give us a future and a hope. The Scriptures remind us, *"The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, Lord, endures forever. Do not abandon the works of your hands"* (Psalm 138:8). In every hardship, we trust that God is working all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Let us come boldly before His throne, interceding for each need with faith and expectation.
For our son, we pray that You would guide his friendships, Lord, surrounding him with godly influences who will sharpen him as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). May he seek a future spouse who loves You wholeheartedly, a woman of noble character who fears the Lord (Proverbs 31:30). Strengthen his mind and body, Father, that he may walk in the fullness of the life You have called him to. *"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint"* (Isaiah 40:31).
For our daughter and her marriage, we ask that You would establish her and her husband in their work, Lord. Provide opportunities that align with Your purpose for their lives, and grant her husband favor in his job search. May their marriage be a reflection of Christ and the Church, rooted in love, respect, and mutual submission (Ephesians 5:22-33). For all those in need of employment, we pray for open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and for the Christian lady in an abusive work setting, we ask for Your protection and wisdom. Deliver her from oppression, Lord, and surround her with Your peace. *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9).
We lift up those battling cancer, Lord, and ask for Your healing touch. You are the God who heals us (Exodus 15:26), and we declare Your power over sickness and disease. For the young boy with the blood disorder, the lady facing kidney removal, and all those in need of physical healing, we pray for complete restoration. *"Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise"* (Jeremiah 17:14). For the father struggling with anger, we ask that You would soften his heart and fill him with Your peace. Teach him to be slow to anger, as Your Word instructs (James 1:19), and help him to model patience and self-control for his children.
For the disabled young lady whose husband has left her for another woman, we pray for Your protection over her and her child. We rebuke the spirit of adultery and unfaithfulness, Lord, and ask that You would bring conviction to the hearts of those involved. May this husband repent and return to his marriage vows, or may You remove him from her life if he persists in sin. Guard her heart from bitterness, and provide for her every need. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). For those healing from trauma, we ask for Your comfort and restoration. Heal their wounds, Lord, and replace their pain with Your peace (Isaiah 61:1-3).
For the lady being stalked, we pray for her salvation and protection. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and deliver her from evil. May she come to know You as her Savior and find refuge in Your presence. *"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe"* (Proverbs 18:10). For those without homes, we ask for Your provision and shelter. Open doors of opportunity, and lead them to safe and stable places. For those who have lost loved ones, we pray for Your comfort to surround them like a warm embrace. *"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted"* (Matthew 5:4).
For the disabled single mother fostering a disabled infant, we ask for Your strength and grace to sustain her. Provide for her every need, Lord, and give her wisdom in caring for this child. For those suffering after years of domestic violence, we pray for healing and restoration. Break the chains of fear and shame, and replace them with Your love and freedom. For the woman with a high-risk pregnancy, we ask for Your protection over her and her baby. Grant her peace and strength, and bring her safely through this time.
For couples needing emotional connection and an increase of trust, we pray that You would restore their marriages, Lord. Teach them to love one another as You have loved us (John 13:34), and help them to forgive and extend grace. For the Christian man whose reputation is being attacked, we ask for Your vindication and protection. Guard his heart from discouragement, and use this trial for Your glory. For the salvation of our son’s friends, we pray that their hearts would be open to the gospel. Use our son as a light in their lives, Lord, and draw them to Yourself.
For all those not mentioned by name, we trust that You know their needs, Lord. Bring comfort, strength, healing, rescue, provision, protection, and deliverance from evil. Grant safe travel to those on the road, and surround them with Your angels. We give You all the credit and praise, for You alone are worthy. *"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen"* (Ephesians 3:20-21).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in each of these situations, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
