We join you in your tears and we hear the burden of your heart as you cry out for them, and we lift them up together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name.
We know that God sees and treasures every tear you have shed, for Psalm 56:8 says You number my wanderings. You put my tears into your bottle. Aren't they in your book. And Revelation 21:4 reminds us that He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more, neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away. Your weeping is not hidden from Him, and He is close to the brokenhearted.
We pray together for those who have caused you this pain, just as you have asked, that Jesus would bring deep conviction and salvation to each one of them. We ask the Holy Spirit to convict them of sin and draw them to repentance, for 2 Peter 3:9 says The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. And we claim the promise that Romans 10:13 declares that Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved, and Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We pray that their eyes would be opened and they would call upon the name of Jesus alone for salvation, for Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
We also stand with you on the promise you have clung to in Isaiah 54:17, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh. We declare this heritage over you now, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every accusing tongue will be silenced in Christ.
You are right to feel that Jesus is coming soon, and we share that holy urgency. Jesus Himself said in Revelation 22:12 Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work. This is why your prayer for their salvation is so urgent and so precious to God, and why we must remain watchful and ready.
We ask for His mercy and His mighty protecting covering over you, as you have prayed. We thank Him for His mercy that never fails, for Lamentations 3:22-23 says It is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. And we plead the protecting power of the blood of Jesus over you, for 1 John 1:7 says the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin, and we are redeemed and covered by that blood.
We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one who is weeping and all those they are carrying in prayer. Lord, have mercy upon us all. Let Your Holy Spirit bring deep conviction of sin and a true turning to Jesus for salvation to every soul they are praying for. Save them, Lord, wash them in the blood of Jesus, and make them new creations in Christ. Cover this weeping one and those they love with Your mighty protecting blood, guard their hearts and minds, silence every weapon and every tongue that rises against them, and fulfill Your promise in Isaiah 54:17 in their lives. Comfort them in their tears, give them Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and keep them ready and steadfast as we await Your soon return. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.
