PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We join with you in crying out, Jesus have mercy, and we stand with you in bringing this unspoken request before the throne of grace in Jesus' name only, for we know there is no other name by which we can be saved and no other way to the Father.

We hear the urgency in your heart to believe your prayer has already been answered, and we understand the pain of feeling mocked when you have poured out your heart. We want to encourage you that your desire to pray in Jesus' name alone is right and biblical, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12.

We also take comfort with you that God truly does know this unspoken prayer even when you cannot or choose not to share the details. Your Father knows what things you need before you ask him, Matthew 6:8, and the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, Romans 8:26. When we pray in secret, your Father who sees in secret will reward you, Matthew 6:6. We do not need to explain everything to others for God to hear and act, and it is wise at times to keep a matter between you and the Lord alone.

Regarding those you felt insulted and belittled your prayer, even comparing it to Moses opening the Red Sea, we gently encourage you not to carry the weight of judging their motives. While mocking is wrong and discouraging, we are called to not seek to please men but God, Galatians 1:10, and to love and pray for those who may have despitefully used us, Matthew 5:44. We can leave their hearts to the Lord who sees all, and choose to forgive, lest bitterness take root. Even if some of what was said had validity, we can receive what is true and entrust what was harsh to Jesus, who was himself mocked and yet prayed for those who mocked him.

We also want to lovingly speak to your statement that you must believe your prayer has already been answered. We share your faith that Jesus is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask, and we do believe Jesus when He said, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them, Mark 11:24. Yet scripture also teaches us to pray according to His will, for this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us, 1 John 5:14. True faith trusts not only that God can answer as we desire, but that He will answer according to His perfect wisdom, timing, and mercy. So we pray with you in faith, fully trusting His power to do this, while also submitting to His perfect will, knowing His answer will be what is best.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of this dear one. Lord, You know the unspoken request fully, every detail, every burden, every hope that has been carried in this prayer. We ask for Your mercy to be poured out. We ask that You would strengthen faith where there has been discouragement from the words of others, and that You would guard this heart from hurt and from anger. Give peace that passes all understanding and heal any wound caused by insult or mockery. We pray that those who may have belittled this prayer would be blessed and drawn closer to You, and that no weapon formed against this child of Yours would prosper. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask You to answer this unspoken petition in a way that clearly shows Your hand and Your glory, that all will know only Jesus could do this. But above all, let Your will be done, and help our dear one to rest in trusting that You have heard, that You love, and that You will answer in Your perfect time and way. Keep this one close, increase faith, and let Your mercy and grace be evident each day. We ask all this in the mighty and only name of Jesus, Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with this. We hear how much this prayer means to you and how painful it was to have it mocked and belittled, especially when someone tried to make themselves look good at your expense. It is understandable you would want to keep this between you and the Lord now.

We want to reassure you that Jesus does hear what is unspoken. Prayer is not a performance for others to evaluate, it is simply being honestly before God, and He knows your heart fully even when you do not put it into words for others. You do not have to prove your faith to anyone else for God to be near.

When that sting and worry rise up, it can help to give it a quiet, set place to go. You might choose a brief private time each day to bring this unspoken burden to Jesus alone, perhaps writing it down just for Him if that helps you release it, instead of carrying it through the whole day. If the anxiety feels heavy, consider sharing with one trusted pastor or counselor who will listen without judging, so you are not holding it all alone.

Jesus, we lift our friend to You now. You know this unspoken request completely and You see the hurt from unkind words. Cover them with Your mercy, quiet their anxious thoughts with Your peace, and help them rest in Your care and faithfulness day by day. Guide them as they trust You. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your earnest cry for mercy has been heard by the One who hears unspoken prayer, for though you keep this burden silent before men, it is not silent before God who searches the heart and knows what is the mind of the Spirit.

You speak of mockers who have made light of your prayer, even likening your faith to presumption, as though to trust God for great things were fanaticism. Do not wonder at this, for faith has ever had to live among mockers. They said of our Lord, He trusted on the Lord that He would deliver Him, let Him deliver Him. And they will say the same of His servants. Yet we ought distinctly to declare that we believe in God and to tell what deliverances we have received and what prayers He has answered. Let them mock if they will, do you honor your God and never hesitate to speak well of His name, or to be silent before men and speak well of Him in secret prayer if prudence so dictates. The best cure for the wound of an insult is to go to God in prayer and pour out your soul for those who have despitefully used you, asking the Lord to give them a great blessing and to fill them with divine love.

You desire to believe that your prayer is already answered. Take heed that faith does not become presumption. Faith hears the coming of the blessing and has quick ears to hear the footsteps of mercy on the ladder of Jacob, but true faith keeps up its acquaintance with the Eternal Father by whom it was begotten and bows to His wisdom. God invites, indeed He commands men to pray, and He will not set open the door of mercy meaning to shut it in the sinner's face. Ask and it shall be given you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. Yet Jacob, that model of prayer, taught us how to plead. He pleaded the covenant, O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, he confessed his unworthiness, I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies and of all the truth which Thou hast showed unto Thy servant, and he pleaded the promise, Thou saidst I will deal well with thee. Go and plead so, and the Lord will do unto you according to your faith. And remember Jacob's prayer was answered, but it was not answered in the way he expected it would be. God gave him not only deliverance from Esau but a new name and a deeper knowledge of Himself.

You mention the dividing of the Red Sea as though some thought it too great a thing to ask. My brother, this God who divided the Red Sea is our God forever and ever and is at this hour as mighty as when He overthrew the horse and his rider in the mighty waters. There is nothing too hard for the Lord. Yet the Lord would have us use our best wits and judgment and then to fall back upon Him in confiding prayer just as if we had done nothing at all. Close access to God in wrestling prayer is sure to make the believer strong. Much alone with God and you will have much assurance.

If this burden which you dare not now utter concerns the affections of the heart, a relationship, or a home, bring it fully under the light of the Word. The Lord who alone can save us through Jesus Christ has ordained marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and has appointed that the union of the body and the sharing of a home belong within that covenant. He will not bless what His Word calls sin, but He delights to bless obedience and to give grace to walk in purity. Therefore do not ask God to bless a path that runs against His holy will, but ask Him to conform your desires to His will and to make you willing to be made willing.

Call upon Him in the day of trouble in honest speech, not as a mere form but as a child to a Father. He has heard your first prayer when you asked Him to have mercy upon you and blot out your sin, and He will hear this also. Only have faith in God and obey and believe the text, Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver thee and thou shalt glorify Me. Leave the time and the manner of the answer with Him who is too wise to err and too good to withhold any good thing from them that walk uprightly. May He search you and try you and lead you in the way everlasting, and may His answer, whether it be yes or no or wait, be to you the sure token of His love in Christ Jesus, in whose name alone we pray.
