These people’s BBQing giving me a headache

Beloved of All
On top of already being ill and extreme pain with knee issues. Fell a few times in the past and bumped my knee could only be the reason for this extreme Pain now don’t know what to do. Please heal this Lord and bring Godly true friends by my side please. Not these that are denying you for their deliverance and me now. Amen Open miracle doors soon please.

We hear your cry for healing and comfort in the midst of physical pain and loneliness. The Word of God tells us, "Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (James 5:13-15). We stand with you in faith, believing that God hears your prayers and will move on your behalf.

Your knee pain and the frustration of being unwell are heavy burdens, but we know that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We also lift up your heart’s desire for godly friendships, those who will walk with you in truth and encourage your faith. The Bible warns us, "Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character’" (1 Corinthians 15:33). It is wise to seek companions who honor God, for their influence will strengthen your spirit, not weaken it.

We must gently address the mention of those who deny the Lord for their deliverance. Scripture is clear: "If anyone does not love the Lord, let that person be cursed" (1 Corinthians 16:22). While we are called to love all people, we are not to yoke ourselves with those who reject Christ, for their ways will only bring spiritual harm. Instead, we pray that God would surround you with believers who will uplift you in prayer, speak life into your circumstances, and remind you of His promises.

We also want to encourage you to seek medical wisdom alongside your prayers. The Lord often works through doctors, physical therapy, and rest to bring healing. "The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy" (James 3:17). Trust that God can guide you to the right care.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering with pain and weariness. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. Ease their knee pain, restore strength, and bring relief from every ache. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Father, we also pray for godly friendships to enter their life, friends who will pray with them, encourage them in faith, and walk in Your truth. Surround them with Your love and protection, shielding them from those who would lead them astray. Open the doors of blessing and provision in Your perfect timing.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of loneliness, despair, or discouragement that may be trying to take root. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to hope, dear one. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised the dead, and calmed the storm is with you in this season. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in seeking His face. "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). You are not forgotten.

We’re thinking of you as you carry all of this, the knee pain, the illness, the headache from the smoke. When your body is screaming and the neighbors feel like another burden, it’s easy to feel trapped and alone. That kind of combination can wear down even the strongest spirit.

A practical step we’d gently encourage: with the falls you mentioned and the pain being so intense, it would be wise to let a doctor examine your knee. Taking care of your body is not a failure of faith; it’s part of stewarding what God has given you. They may be able to bring you some relief and rule out anything that needs attention.

We also hear your longing for true, godly friends, people who won’t deny the Lord but will stand with you. In seasons of isolation, one of the best things we can do is place ourselves where such friendships can grow. A small group at a local church, a Bible study, or even a quiet gathering of believers can be a place where you’re seen, heard, and supported. It’s often in the simple act of showing up that God opens those doors you’re praying for.

You’re not forgotten. Jesus knows what it is to ache physically and to be misunderstood. He stays close to you in the middle of it, and we’re asking Him to bring relief and connection in ways you can feel.

Father, we lift up this dear person. Please calm the pain in their knee and give them clear direction as they seek medical care. Surround them with friends who love You, people who will be Your hands and feet in this hard season. Cut through the noise around them and grant Your peace, and open the doors of healing and genuine community that only You can open. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The pain of the body and the vexation of spirit from those who deny the Lord are a heavy burden. Yet remember, dear soul, that religion is not for churches and chapels alone, it is equally meant for kitchens and drawing rooms, for the hours when headaches throb and knees ache and neighbors seem to care nothing for the God of deliverance. Your cry for healing and for true friends has been heard in the courts of heaven. You have asked the Lord to open miracle doors; this is no small plea. Consider the woman bowed together for eighteen years, who could not lift up her head. No request came from her lips, yet the sight of her misery touched the heart of Christ. He spoke, and touched her, and she was made straight. That same Jesus sees you in your pain, and the least thing about Him is full of healing virtue. The very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. His hand upon you can work a swift cure, more swiftly than any can tell.

But let me press upon you: do not let bitterness toward your neighbors fester into anger without just cause. It is a great blessing to have friends who know the Lord, yet Laban learned that the Lord blessed him for Jacob’s sake. Who can tell what blessings God gives even to the unconverted because of the prayers of the righteous? Nevertheless, you are right to long for godly companions, and you must be earnest with the Lord about this. Will you take a denial from God? Take comfort that Christ is grand in emergencies and displays His power spontaneously, without our pressing or prompting. He knows you need true friends, and He can raise them up for you as suddenly as He multiplied the loaves. Only see to it that you and your sins part, for God will not be friends with those who entertain the devil in their hearts. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction; ask to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. Welcome those leaves that change the very lifeblood and make the nature other than it was.

Cry to Him who is the great Miracle Worker, for the miracle lies wholly in Jesus Himself. He did nothing but speak, and the unclean spirit fled. He has only to speak, and your pain will flee, your heart be comforted, and the friends you need will appear. Your godly predecessors would have you not deviate from the course of those who trusted Him; they looked forward to recovery and reckoned on a new creature. Be that new creature. Let your soul wrestle with the Lord until the break of day, and you shall become a prince. God bless you through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of pain in your knee and a headache from the barbecue, but the greater wound I see is your loneliness, crying out for godly friends while surrounded by those who deny the Lord. The body aches, yes, but do not let the soul be cast down into despondency. Consider what the Apostle says: godly sorrow works repentance unto salvation, a repentance which brings no regret. This pain you feel, both in your flesh and in your spirit, can be a godly sorrow if you offer it to God. It may be that He permits this very weakness to draw you closer to Himself, to show you that when He is your friend, though all men together war against you, there is no harm. I will not fear what man shall do unto me. The smoke of your neighbor’s grill, the noise, the isolation, these are but human things. Laugh at human things, so long as you have God favorable to you. If He is your friend, you lack nothing, even if you lack all else.

You ask for true friends to be brought to your side, and rightly so, for friendship according to Christ surpasses even the bonds of fathers and sons. In the time of the Apostles, the believers were of one heart and soul, and no one called anything his own. This is friendship: to care for another’s soul as for your own. But mark this: if a friendship harms you, cut it off. If these people around you deny the Lord and their company threatens your own deliverance, it is better to lose them than to lose yourself. God may be giving you pain now to spare you from a greater loss, that you might suffer loss in nothing. The Spirit is testing your feelings, making you more proved, accustoming you to bear separation from worldly comforts so that you learn to cling only to Christ. Do not seek friends from mere neighborliness or long acquaintance, but from godliness only. The Lord will open the doors in His time. Until then, let this sickness and solitude be the rock where the word takes root, producing fortitude and contempt of earthly things. Mourn your sins, if any, and fix your hope on Him who goes to the Father but will return, whose presence with His own is continual.

Your aching knee, the relentless headache, the illness pressing in, it all feels like too much to carry alone. And when pain settles deep into the joints, especially after those past falls, it shouts for attention. I won't pretend to understand all the reasons some are healed quickly and others wait, but I do know that our bodies tell stories. For many of us, a recurring pain becomes a thorn in the flesh, a persistent reminder that this world's glories pass away and leave their mark. What once might have seemed like a trivial stumble now speaks of human frailty, and the Lord can use even that to draw our dependence back to Him. That knee which hurts today will one day bow, along with every other, confessing that Jesus Christ is Lord. What a hope that is. The bowing will come for all, but only those who bend the knee willingly now find it leads to life.

You asked for a miracle, for open doors. I believe God heals. He heals sometimes in an instant, sometimes through the slow mending of tissues and nerves, a process no less His work because it follows the rhythms He created. The blind man Jesus touched saw people like trees walking, then saw clearly after a second touch. Gradual. The divine isn't always dramatic. And while our culture chases after flashy displays, whipping up emotions in circus-like settings, I've seen too much fakery to trust the loudest claims. The Father's heart is not moved by our frenzy but by our need. Jesus wept at the grave of Lazarus, not because He lacked power, but because sin's pain broke His heart. He weeps with you now, in the frustration of noise and illness, in the loneliness of feeling abandoned by those who should stand with you.

Speaking of them, the ones denying the Lord for their own deliverance while turning their backs on you. Even Jesus had friends who thought He had lost His mind, who came to lay hold of Him because His path seemed beyond reason. When the people around you refuse to bow the knee to the only true Deliverer, their company can't bring the support you long for. Pray for friends whose hearts are already yielded, who will sit with you in the headache and the ache, not needing a miracle Monday night to believe. Real companions may not be perfect, but they point you to Christ rather than to their own illusions.

So bring the pain, knee, head, heart, to Him. Ask for healing, yes, but also for ears to hear what the thorn might be saying in the waiting. Every true healing is a sign of His kingdom, whether it comes with a sudden touch or through the doctor's skill He ordained. And while you wait, remember you're not waiting alone. The One who will one day make all things new bends low now, close enough for you to know His presence is more real than any miracle.
