These past few days my great grandmother has been in the hospital for a severe intestinal blockage. The doctors have been trying everything to avoid surgery because she is age ### and already very weak. Today my family and I received news that the stomach pump isn't working anymore and that, depending on how the X-rays turn out today, she will need surgery immediately. She has been without any new food for days and is extremely weak, even for a ### year old woman.

The doctors are saying that if she even makes it through the surgery, she will be placed in ICU with a feeding tube and put on a ventilator. As much as I want her to make it through this, I know that she will have a very low quality of life if she makes it. At this point I am praying for either a miracle or for her to pass with peace and ease into the Kingdom. Please keep her in your hearts today and hope for the best. Her name is ###.
