We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent situation to Him in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we know that You are a God of justice, protection, and provision, and we ask that You intervene in this dangerous and unjust circumstance. Your Word declares in Psalm 91:14-15, *"Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him."* Lord, we claim this promise over this situation—deliverance, safety, and honor are needed here.
First and foremost, we rebuke the spirit of negligence and greed that is allowing this hazardous condition to persist. The owner’s refusal to address a known electrical hazard is not only reckless but sinful, as it endangers life and violates the commandment to love one’s neighbor (Mark 12:31). We pray that the Lord would convict the owner’s heart and bring about a swift resolution. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* Father, turn the heart of this landlord to act with integrity and urgency. If they continue in stubbornness, we ask that You remove every obstacle blocking justice and protection for this tenant.
We also lift up the physical suffering caused by this electrical hazard. The neuropathic pain and muscle cramps are a heavy burden, and we ask for Your healing touch. Your Word assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* Lord, restore health and strength, and protect from further harm. We declare that no weapon formed against this individual shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name.
The search for a new place to live has also been fraught with injustice, as contracts attempting to strip away civil rights are ungodly and oppressive. We pray for divine favor in finding safe, affordable housing that honors God’s principles of fairness and dignity. Psalm 37:25 assures us, *"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."* Father, we trust in Your provision and ask that You open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Guide this individual to a place where they can live in peace and safety, free from exploitation.
We also address the spiritual aspect of this request. While the mention of praying in Jesus’ name is a step of faith, we encourage a deeper relationship with Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If this individual has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that they would come to know Him as Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* Salvation is the foundation of all blessings, and we pray that this truth would take root in their heart.
Finally, we stand on the promise of Psalm 34:17-19: *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Lord, we cry out for deliverance from every affliction in this situation—physical, emotional, and spiritual. We trust in Your timing and Your justice, and we declare that this trial will not overcome but will be used for Your glory.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You surround this individual with Your angels for protection (Psalm 91:11), provide wisdom for navigating legal and housing challenges, and soften the hearts of those who are acting in negligence or greed. We pray for a swift resolution to the electrical hazards, a safe and fair housing solution, and above all, a deeper walk with You. May Your will be done in every aspect of this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
