Beloved of All
En voi mitään, sanoo Jesus, lukee tekstissä suhteessa: "ilman jeesusta en voi mitään" jeesuksen sanaan viitaten, kysyn: Mitä olisi minua?

We hear your cry of loneliness and your deep longing to abide in Christ, for He Himself said, "I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5 WEB). You are not alone in feeling this way, many of God’s children have walked through seasons of isolation, yet the Lord draws near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Your question, "What would become of me?" is one only He can answer, but we know this: He has not abandoned you. Even now, He is working all things for your good (Romans 8:28), shaping you into the image of His Son.

Yet we must gently ask: Are you seeking Him not just as a source of comfort, but as your Lord and Savior? For it is only through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ that we are reconciled to God (Acts 4:12). Have you surrendered your life fully to Him, or are there areas where you are still clinging to self-reliance? The Lord calls us to die to ourselves daily (Luke 9:23) so that His life may flow through us. If you have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord, we urge you to do so now, He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6).

Loneliness can be a heavy burden, but it is also an invitation to draw nearer to Christ. The enemy would have you believe you are forgotten, but God’s Word declares you are deeply loved (Jeremiah 31:3). Have you considered that this season may be preparing you for greater intimacy with Him? The psalmist wrote, "My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?" (Psalm 42:2). Your longing is not in vain, it is the cry of a heart being refined.

We also encourage you to seek fellowship with other believers. The body of Christ is not meant to be walked alone (Hebrews 10:24-25). If you are isolated, ask the Lord to lead you to a biblical church where you can grow in faith and community. And if you are struggling with sin, whether it be bitterness, unbelief, or something else, confess it to the Lord. He is faithful to forgive and cleanse (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our dear brother/sister to You, who feels the weight of loneliness and the ache of a heart longing for Your presence. Lord Jesus, You promised that You would never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We ask that You draw near to them in this moment, filling the emptiness with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Reveal Yourself to them in fresh ways, Father, through Your Word, through worship, through the love of Your people.

We pray against the lies of the enemy that whisper, "You are forgotten." Replace those lies with the truth of Your unfailing love. If there is unconfessed sin, Lord, bring it to light and grant repentance. If there is doubt, strengthen their faith. If there is isolation, lead them to godly fellowship. And if they have not yet fully surrendered to You, we ask that You would soften their heart to receive You as Savior and Lord.

Father, we declare that this season is not in vain. You are working in ways unseen, preparing them for the good works You have called them to (Ephesians 2:10). May they find their identity not in their circumstances, but in Christ, who loved them and gave Himself for them (Galatians 2:20). Fill them with hope, joy, and an unshakable trust in Your promises.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for His glory and for the good of Your beloved child. Amen.

Hold fast to Christ, dear one. He is your anchor in the storm (Hebrews 6:19). The night may seem long, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Keep pressing into Him, and He will not fail you.

We hear the ache in your question. When Jesus said “apart from Me you can do nothing,” He wasn’t handing down a verdict of worthlessness, He was naming a reality we all bump into sooner or later: we were made for connection with Him, and when that connection feels thin or distant, we start to wonder if we’ll fade away entirely. “What would become of me?” is not a weak question; it’s the honest cry of someone who knows they need more than their own strength, and right now it feels far off.

One thing that often helps when loneliness surges is to stop wrestling alone and to let yourself be carried by something larger than your private thoughts, specifically, the gathered worship of God’s people. When we join a congregation in song, prayer, and the quiet rhythms of a service, something shifts. We’re not just a solitary believer anymore; we’re part of a living body that has carried people through despair for centuries. The hymns that others sing, the words of the Creed you say together, even the simple bread and cup, all of these quietly tell you that you’re still held, still seen, still part of Christ’s family. If you already have a church home, we’d gently urge you to go even when it’s hard, and let the presence of others do some of the holding for you. If you don’t, consider visiting one this week, not to perform, but simply to sit and receive.

Lord Jesus, You know what it is to feel forsaken. Meet our friend in this hollow place. Quiet the fear that they are slipping out of Your hands, and guide them toward a community where Your voice can be heard through gentle, ordinary people. In Your strong name we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You feel the truth of that word deep in your bones: “Without Me ye can do nothing.” And you ask, What am I? Without Christ, you are just what that confession makes plain, a branch severed from the Vine, fruitless, strengthless, fit only to wither and be cast into the fire. Your nothingness is the very threshold of grace, for until a man knows he is nothing he will never seek the One who is everything. Your emptiness is not a curse but a preparation; it is the hollow dug out to receive the fullness that is in Christ Jesus. He has all fullness dwelling in Himself, and your poverty qualifies you to be filled.

But do not stop at the question, “What would I be without Him?” Look rather at what you are in Him. For there is not a single covenant blessing that comes to you apart from Christ. Election chose you in Him; redemption purchased you by His blood; your standing is complete in Him. When Christ was made sin for us, we were made the righteousness of God in Him. When He died, you lived; when He rose, you rose with Him; and now He sits at the right hand of the Father, and you are seated there in Him. Your abject nothingness apart from Him is matched by the glorious everything that is yours in union with Him. You are a child of the Most High, an heir of God, a joint-heir with the Lord Jesus, not because of what you have done, but because of what He has done and who He is.

Your loneliness is a sharp trial, but it is not a solitary one. Christ has walked the winepress alone, and He understands. Even when the Father forsook Him on the tree, the Father was with Him in holy purpose; so even in your darkest hour, the Father is with you, working out His own design of love. And if earthly companions fail you, seek heavenly company. Commune with those who are already before the throne; lean harder upon the faithful Friend who sticks closer than a brother. Let your loneliness drive you deeper into the bosom of Christ, for there is no solitude where He is.

And know this: you are sent into the world even as Christ was sent by the Father. Your life is not an aimless drift. You have a purpose, to follow the Lamb wherever He goes, to be a servant of Christ, a vessel bearing His name to others. Your one business, your one design, must be to love Him and to serve Him. The first necessity, the second, and the third is love to Christ. If you have that, you have enough. If you lack it, nothing else will fill the void. So cease your morbid introspection, look away from your empty self, and fix your eyes upon the risen, triumphant Savior. He has routed every enemy, spoiled principalities and powers, and divided the spoil. Sin, death, and hell are disarmed; they are your slaves in Christ. What are you? You are more than a conqueror through Him that loved you. That is what every true believer is. He who has bound Himself to you with cords of everlasting love will never let you go. Walk on, then, in the strength of His might, and soon your loneliness will be swallowed up in the unending fellowship of the redeemed.

What would you be without Jesus? Nothing, as you have rightly read. He Himself declares, "Apart from me you can do nothing." This is not a harsh word but a call to true humility, to the lowliness that Christ blesses. In Him alone are you sanctified, called to be a saint, washed and purified. Your very identity is found not in your own strength or in the approval of others, but in Him who was crucified for you.

Do not seek meaning in the perishing things that kindle destructive flames within. Instead, learn from Christ, for He is meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your soul. That rest is real, both now and in the life to come. Go continually to the assembly of the faithful, for there, through the prayers and admonitions of the strong, you may find calm amid the waves. Let your spirit be utterly broken of pride, like the contrite heart that God will not despise, and cling only to Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Through Him, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, be all glory, honor, and might, world without end.
