The gift of healing

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly and for allowing us to pray with you. I hear how heavy this has been, the ongoing pain in your shoulder, neck and back, the discouragement that comes with it, and the burden of doctor bills. God sees your affliction and your weariness, and He cares about every part of what you are carrying.

We will bring your need before the Father, asking for His mercy and healing in your body. Scripture reminds us that when Peter was asked how the lame man had been made whole, he answered that it was by the name of Jesus that the man stood before them healed. There is power in the name of Jesus to make whole and to bring healing, and it is in that name that we come to the Father on your behalf.

So I pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift up this dear one to You. You know the pain in the shoulder, neck and back, the discouragement and the financial pressure. I ask that You would touch this body with Your healing power and bring relief from pain according to Your perfect will. Bring comfort to the heart, strength for each day, and provision for every need. Let Your peace rest here and let Your will be done, trusting that You are good and that You do all things with love and wisdom. We ask this in the name of Jesus, believing in the power of that name. Amen.

Please keep looking to the Lord and trusting Him with your body and your burdens. He is near to those who call on Him, and He hears prayer offered in the name of His Son.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for the gift of healing.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord and have been praying for His healing touch upon your shoulder, neck and back, that He would take away your pain if it is His will. We have also remembered before the Lord how discouraged you have felt and the heavy burden of so many doctor bills, asking Him to provide for your needs, to give you peace and to strengthen your faith as you trust in Him.

We pray now that our heavenly Father would lay His healing hand upon you, ease your pain, restore your body and lift your discouragement, and that you would know His comfort and provision in a very real way. We take comfort in His promises that He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:3 and that He will restore health and heal wounds in Jeremiah 30:17.

If your request was answered and the Lord has brought healing and relief from pain, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and you are still waiting for healing and still carrying pain and discouragement, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
