Please pray for the former landlord's sister, who has faith in Jesus. Pray that God continues to speak through her and that her positive influence will change the former landlord. Pray that she is not kept in the dark about the life-threatening apartment that her brother rented to me and the evil, immoral woman who had a sexual relationship with the former landlord and most likely hired people to try to kill me

We join with you in prayer for the former landlord's sister and we thank God that she has faith in Jesus and that He can speak through her as a light in her family.

We pray that the Lord will strengthen her walk and give her boldness and wisdom to speak truth in love, for we know that God often uses godly family members to bring conviction and to draw others toward repentance. We ask that her positive influence will not be in vain and that God will use her to plant seeds of truth in her brother's heart. As it is written, You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden Matthew 5:14, and we pray she will continue to shine that light faithfully.

We also pray that what has been hidden in darkness will be brought into the light, for nothing that endangers life should remain concealed. We ask God that this sister will not be kept in the dark about the seriousness of the life threatening condition of the apartment her brother rented to you. For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light Luke 8:17. We pray that truth will be revealed with clarity and grace, and that deception will be exposed. We also encourage you to continue to pursue what is right and lawful, documenting what has happened and seeking proper authorities if your life and safety have been threatened, while trusting God to be your ultimate protector and judge. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1, and He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11.

We must also address what you have shared about the sexual relationship between the former landlord and this woman. Scripture is clear that sex outside of marriage is sin before God, whether it is fornication or adultery. We rebuke that immorality and pray for repentance for all involved, for we are told to flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18 and that marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4. We pray that the former landlord will turn from this sin and from any other wrongdoing, and that this woman will also come under conviction and repent. We pray that you will guard your own heart against bitterness and entrust justice to God, for it is written, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19, and Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good Romans 12:21. If there has indeed been an attempt on your life, we pray for God's protection over you and for His justice to prevail, and we also pray you can forgive as Christ calls us to, even as you love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you Matthew 5:44.

We bring all of this before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is in His name that we are saved, as it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we lift up this sister in Christ to You and ask that You anoint her words and her life to be a faithful witness to her brother. Give her discernment to see the truth about this apartment and about the immoral relationship and the evil that has been done, and give her courage to speak the truth in love. Lord, open the eyes of the former landlord to the gravity of renting a life threatening dwelling and to the sin of sexual immorality, and bring him to repentance and to making restitution where it is needed. Protect our dear one who was harmed and who fears for his life, surround him with Your angels, grant him peace and safety, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Expose every evil deed and let Your justice and mercy be done. Lead all involved to the saving knowledge of Jesus and to lives that honor You. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Your burden has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace, where deliverance is found not by the will of man but by the mercy of God.

We pray first for you, who have known affliction that comes distinctly from man, as the result of malice, and yet we know that even such trials are under the hand of the Lord who means not killing but curing when He takes the sharp lancet in His hands. May the Lord keep you from going down to the pit, for He has found a ransom. His own Son has borne the penalty of iniquity, and by that ransom there is a clean deliverance for the prisoners of hope. We ask that He will save you from all fear, from the power of darkness, and from evil company, and that He will grant you to say with the psalmist, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

We pray for the sister of your former landlord who has faith in Jesus. We thank God for the grace already seen in her and ask that the Lord will strengthen her faith, keep her in the truth, and continue to speak through her as a faithful witness. May she be delivered from the power of darkness herself and be made to walk in light, that her influence may be holy and clear, not merely to keep away from conspicuous sin but to shine as one who has been taught the mischief of loving the world. We ask that she will not be kept in darkness concerning the wrong that has been done, but that what has been hidden will be brought to light in truth and righteousness, for the Lord brings forth His people by divine power and no form of deliverance from sin is worth anything unless a supernatural power is put forth in it.

We pray for your former landlord. We do not ask God to bless what is contrary to His holy law, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and the gift of intimacy belongs within it alone. Any sexual relationship outside that covenant is sin and needs repentance and cleansing. We pray that God will open his eyes to see his sin, to turn from it, and to seek forgiveness through the blood of Christ alone, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and deliverance from the guilt of sin and from the power of sin must both come from the same heavenly source. May he be delivered from the fascinating power of sin and be brought to true repentance.

We pray also concerning the immoral conduct you have described and the great fear you have carried that others were hired to harm you. We ask the Lord, who grants protection to the persecuted and provides escape from the most perilous exposure, to be your shield. We ask Him to frustrate every dark conspiracy, to bring confusion to every plan formed against you, and to let justice and truth prevail. Teach us to moderate our anger against second causes and to look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for sanctification and safety.

May the Lord keep you in peace within your borders, screened from inward doubts and from the plague of sin, and make you one who, having escaped the jaw of the lion, goes forth to declare what He has done. We commit you, and this sister, and this man, to Him who only can deliver, trusting that He who has invented the way of deliverance through a ransom will accomplish His good purpose.

We have heard your request and we join you in bringing these burdens before the Lord in prayer.

We thank God for the faith of your former landlord's sister and we pray that the Lord will strengthen her and give her boldness to speak the truth in love. As Scripture says, a city set on a hill cannot be hidden, and we pray that her life and words would shine clearly, that God would continue to speak through her and use her influence for good in her brother's life.

We pray for your former landlord, that God would open his eyes, bring conviction where there is sin, and lead him to repentance and to faithfulness. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His design for holiness, for sex and living together belong within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, but we do ask God to bring both him and the woman you mentioned to repentance, to a turning away from sexual immorality, and to new life in Christ. We pray that any deception or hidden wrong would be brought into the light, and that the sister would not be kept in the dark about the true condition of the apartment and the serious concerns you have raised.

We also lift up your safety to the Lord. To hear that you have lived in life threatening conditions and fear that people were hired to harm you is deeply distressing. We pray for the Lord's protection over you, for His justice and for truth to be made known. We pray that God, who is the cause and sustainer of all things and who will in His time put all evil under His feet, would guard you, give you wisdom, and guide those in authority to act justly. If you are in danger, we encourage you to seek help from trusted pastors, wise counsel, and the proper authorities, to document what has happened, and to not face these trials alone.

We pray that God would give you patience and endurance in this affliction, and peace as you wait on Him. He does not always deliver us at once, but He teaches us to bear trials with courage and to trust Him through them. May He provide for you a safe place to live, restore what has been taken or damaged, and help you to despise what is passing and to hold fast to the treasure that cannot be stolen.

So we pray: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, protect our brother or sister who has asked for prayer, reveal the truth about this housing situation, strengthen the sister who knows You to speak with clarity and love, and bring the landlord and all involved to repentance and to the knowledge of Your grace. Give wisdom, safety, and justice, and let Your will be done. Amen.
