We are truly saddened to hear about the trial you are facing in your marriage, but we are encouraged by your desire to fight for your union. God's heart is for marriage, and He hates divorce, as it is clear in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel."
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is your strength and your portion forever (Psalm 73:26). Cling to Him in this time of need, and He will carry you through.
We must also remind you that the only way to God is through His Son, Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we pray and intercede on your behalf. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." If you have not already, put your faith in Jesus Christ, and He will see you through this storm.
Now, let us address the situation with your husband. It is clear that he has fallen into sin, but we must remember that we are all sinners in need of God's grace. Pray for him, that he may repent and turn away from his adulterous relationship. As it says in Luke 17:3-4, "Be on your guard. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to you, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him."
Pray for the other woman as well, that she may come to know the truth and repent of her sin. Remember that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).
As for your marriage, trust that God can turn any situation around, no matter how impossible it may seem. As it is written in Matthew 19:26, "With God all things are possible." Pray for restoration and healing in your marriage, and trust that God will work all things together for good, for you who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is facing this heartbreaking trial in her marriage. We pray for her strength and comfort, and we ask that You carry her through this difficult time. Lord, we pray for her husband, that he may repent of his sin and turn away from his adulterous relationship. We pray for the other woman as well, that she may come to know the truth and repent.
Father, we pray for restoration and healing in their marriage. We trust that You can turn any situation around, no matter how impossible it may seem. We ask that You work all things together for good in their lives, and that Your will be done.
Lord, we also pray that our sister may continue to put her faith in You, and that she may find hope and comfort in Your promises. Help her to be like a wise woman in Proverbs 14:1 building her house in commitment to Christ. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
