We hear the weight of despair in your words, beloved, and we stand with you against the lies of the enemy. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The voices you’re hearing are not from God, for He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy seeks to isolate you in your pain, but we declare that you are never alone. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Let us rebuke the spirit of discouragement and unbelief in the mighty name of Jesus! The enemy wants you to believe that no one cares, that no help is coming, but God’s Word says, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1). He is your provider, your protector, and your deliverer. If you are feeling forgotten, remember that God has engraved you on the palms of His hands (Isaiah 49:16). If you are in pain, know that He collects every one of your tears in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). If doubt is creeping in, cling to the truth that "faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1).
We also must address the deeper issue here: have you placed your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? The enemy’s lies gain power when we try to fight them in our own strength. But when we surrender to Christ, we gain access to the power that raised Him from the dead (Ephesians 1:19-20). If you have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord, we urge you to do so now. "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, the Name above all names. We rebuke the spirit of fear, doubt, and despair that has been speaking lies to our brother/sister. We break every chain of discouragement and unbelief, and we command the enemy to flee in Jesus’ name! Lord, we ask that You would flood their heart with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we pray that You would silence the voice of the accuser and replace it with the truth of Your Word. Let them hear Your voice saying, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness" (Jeremiah 31:3). Fill them with the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), even when they cannot see it. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on the promises in Your Word.
If they have not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray that You would draw them close and reveal Yourself as their Savior and Redeemer. Let them experience the freedom and joy that comes from knowing You. Surround them with godly believers who can encourage and uplift them. Heal their heart from past wounds, and restore their hope in You.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). May they walk in the victory that is theirs through Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to stand on God’s promises and not the enemy’s lies. Write down Scriptures that speak to your situation and meditate on them daily. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and remind you of God’s faithfulness. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary. "But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). You are loved, you are valued, and you are not forgotten. God is coming to save you, just hold on!
