We understand your concern and believe that the enemy can indeed use people to cause strife and destruction. The Bible tells us that Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly. Let us stand with you in prayer and share some biblical insights.
Firstly, it is important to recognize that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God first, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
Jesus himself said, The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. Do not let the enemy use anyone to cause you harm or distress.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up your child who feels under attack from the enemy. Lord, you are greater than any scheme or plan of the devil. You have given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm us. Lord, we pray that you would expose any person or situation that is being used to cause harm and destruction. We cancel every assignment of the enemy and ask that you would turn it around for good. Give discernment and wisdom to navigate this situation, and bring peace and restoration.
Father, we also pray for the person or persons being used in this manner. We know that you desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Lord, convict their hearts and bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Turn their hearts towards you and away from the schemes of the enemy.
In Jesus' name, we pray for a hedge of protection to be placed around your child. We ask for your divine intervention and for you to thwart the plans of the enemy. Restore peace and joy, and help your child to walk in the fullness of life that Jesus came to bring.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. Stand firm in your faith, and do not let the enemy have his way. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
The prayer request did not mention Jesus. However, we pray by no other name, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
