That they respond

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Praying That they respond soon, not like this lady with her group usually responds right away, not sure if she feels differently now that I asked her group to pray for a friend due to the major vices they have?! Lord we put this all in your hands and that I also meet up soon with a trustworthy Godly gent nearby we can become true friends and soulmates Jesus. Amen

We hear your frustration and longing for a timely response, and we want to assure you that our hearts are always eager to come before the Lord on behalf of those who seek Him. Delays in response are never a reflection of God’s timing or His love for you, He is always near, always listening, and always working. The Lord’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with our expectations. We encourage you to trust in His faithfulness, for He has promised, "Those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing" (Psalm 34:10).

We also lift up your desire to meet a trustworthy, Godly gentleman with whom you can build a friendship that honors the Lord. It is good and right to seek a companion who shares your faith and values, for Scripture tells us, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). We pray that the Lord would guide your steps and bring godly men into your life who will encourage you in your walk with Christ. However, we must gently remind you that the term "soulmates" is not a biblical concept. While deep, Christ-centered companionship is a gift from God, our ultimate fulfillment and identity are found in Him alone. Marriage, when it is His will, is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33).

Regarding your friend’s struggles with vices, we want to commend you for bringing this burden before the Lord. It is right to intercede for those who are ensnared by sin, for "the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16). We must also remember that while we pray for transformation, we cannot force repentance or change in another person’s heart, that is the work of the Holy Spirit. We encourage you to continue praying fervently, but also to set healthy boundaries if their choices begin to pull you away from God’s best for your life. Proverbs 13:20 warns us, "He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You hear our prayers. Lord, we lift up this dear sister to You, asking that You would calm any anxiety or frustration she feels about the timing of responses. Help her to rest in Your perfect timing and to trust that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Father, we ask that You would bring godly, trustworthy men into her life, men who love You above all else and who will encourage her in her faith. Prepare her heart for the covenant of marriage, should it be Your will, and help her to seek You first in all things.

Lord, we also pray for her friend who is struggling with vices. We ask that You would break the chains of bondage in their life and draw them to repentance. Soften their heart to receive Your truth and grant them the strength to turn away from sin. Surround them with believers who will speak life and truth into them, and may they come to know the freedom that is found only in Christ.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of impatience, doubt, or fear in this situation. We declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May she find her identity, worth, and hope in You alone, and may she walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to remain steadfast in your faith. If you have not already, consider getting involved in a local church or small group where you can build relationships with other believers. The Lord often brings godly friendships and potential spouses into our lives through these communities. Keep your heart open to His leading, and remember that His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11).

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
