That people stop automatically, robot-like taking the side of someone in a certain sin because they're someone close to them, over the Biblical views of that sin. Most often this happens with homosexuality. Someone {many, lately} "Know someone" who is "gay", and so they become a backer of it, and label anyone disagreeing with that lifestyle as a "bigot" or "phobic" of gays. But the Bible IS against such actions. These people should be enlightened. Just because you have a friend or family member doing wrong, doesn't override what the Bible says about it. Wrong is wrong, whether it's someone you're close to or not.

"True 'hearing,' or obedience, involves the physical hearing that inspires the hearer, and a belief or trust that in turn motivates the hearer to act in accordance with the speaker's desires." Thus, biblical obedience to God means to hear, trust, submit and surrender to God and his Word. 1. Jesus Calls Us to Obey

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
