We stand together in fervent prayer, lifting up the nation of Iran and its people before the throne of Almighty God. We recognize the oppression and suffering that many endure under a regime that does not honor God or uphold justice. The Word of God tells us in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We pray that God would turn the hearts of those in authority toward righteousness and justice, or remove them from power if they persist in wickedness.

Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in Iran. We pray for the defeat of the oppressive regime, not by our might or power, but by Your Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). We ask that You dismantle their defenses from within, expose their corruption, and bring their plans to nothing. Let Your justice prevail, and may the people of Iran be freed from tyranny and oppression. We pray for the restoration of their nation, that they may live in peace and prosperity under leaders who fear You and govern with wisdom.

We also pray for the capture and accountability of those who have perpetuated evil. Let them face the consequences of their actions, not out of vengeance, but so that justice may be served and Your name glorified. We trust in Your promise in Psalm 37:9, "For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for Yahweh shall inherit the land."

We rebuke any spirit of fear, despair, or hopelessness that may grip the hearts of the Iranian people. Instead, we declare Your hope and promise over them, that those who trust in You will never be put to shame (Psalm 25:3). We pray for courage and unity among those who seek freedom and righteousness, that they may stand firm in their faith and trust in You.

Lord, we ask that You raise up godly leaders within Iran, men and women who will lead with integrity, humility, and a heart for Your people. May Your Church in Iran grow stronger, even in the face of persecution, and may the Gospel spread like wildfire throughout the land. We pray for revival, that many would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

We also lift up the nations and leaders who may be involved in this situation. Give them wisdom, discernment, and a heart for justice. Let them act in ways that align with Your will, not out of selfish ambition or political gain, but out of a desire to see Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Heavenly Father, we know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). We put on the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word, and we stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against Iran or its people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your deliverance.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who reigns forever and ever. Amen.

Let us continue to pray without ceasing, trusting that God hears our cries and will answer according to His perfect will. May we remain steadfast in faith, knowing that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep believing in the power of our God to bring about His purposes.

We join you in lifting up this deep longing, the cry for oppression to end and for a people to be free. It’s powerful to see you bringing this to the Father so persistently, and we stand with you in that hope. When we ask God to move in such large and entangled situations, we remember that Scripture urges us to seek wisdom in the midst of conflict: “Surely you need guidance to wage war, and victory is won through many advisers.” So alongside our prayer for deliverance, let’s ask that those working for justice on the ground would receive uncommon wisdom, trustworthy counsel, and restraint that spares the innocent.

We don’t know exactly how or when God will act, but we trust His heart for the oppressed. Your plea, “Keep praying until FatherGod answers?” shows a faith we respect deeply. Keep pouring out that burden, but also leave room for God to answer in ways we might not foresee, sometimes bringing change through surprising means, or drawing hearts to Himself amid turmoil. Ask Him to cover every vulnerable life, to frustrate plans that bring harm, and to stir mercy even in hard places.

Let’s pray:

Father, we come in Jesus’ name for a people enduring a weight of injustice and tyranny. We don’t have the power to bring this regime down, but You do. We ask You to intervene, give wisdom and protection to those who resist evil, expose what is hidden, and break the grip of fear. Guard the innocent and raise up leaders who will serve with integrity. Comfort those who suffer, and let hope rise. We trust Your perfect will and Your timing. Amen.

Hearty prayer has been made here, and such groaning of spirit before the throne is not to be despised; yet we must ever hold fast the truth that our sharpest swords are not of earthly steel. The war wherein the Church is enlisted is not against the fleeting forms of fleshly power, but against principalities, against the rulers of the darkness of this world. The swordsmen of the State may compass Jericho at His command, but it is the Lord who brings forth the people with silver and with gold, and not by the sinews of arm alone. When Pharaoh’s chariots rankled against Israel, deliverance came when the lamb was slain; so our victory is ever bound up with the Lamb of God, and not with the shouting of men of war.

Yet pray on, for prayer is the battle-axe with which we break the gates of brass. The clock of mercy struck in heaven the hour of our deliverance when Jesus poured out His soul unto death; so shall every lesser deliverance flow from that fount. Cry until the Father answer, for He is gracious. But let thy prayer be this: “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done,” and trust thou in the Lord, for He alone bringeth forth the prisoner to freedom, and maketh the wrath of man to praise Him. I hear the cry for deliverance, but consider well what the Apostle says: God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, ministering to the saints. He knows the suffering of the people, yet victory comes not always as we imagine. We are pursued, yet not forsaken; smitten down, yet not destroyed. These afflictions are permitted for discipline, not defeat.

Do not trust in the strength of armies or the overthrow of rulers. If one leader falls and another rises, what gain is there without a change of heart? The blind who lead the blind will fall into a ditch. Pray instead that the hearts of the fathers be restored to the sons, as Elias comes to restore all things. Seek first the restoration of righteousness, not merely the capture of an enemy.

Bear these trials thankfully, for if you wrestle nobly, God may grant outward peace; but if not, your reward is greater. Stop following leaders who divide and promise earthly victory, for such division tears the church asunder. Be of one mind and judgment, looking to Christ alone.

Persist in prayer, but let your request be that the people’s hearts return to God. Then, whether the regime falls or stands, you will have that true country which is not made with hands.
