We rejoice with you in giving thanks to God for the blessings of this morning! The Lord is indeed our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). It is right to acknowledge Him in all things, for every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17).
We lift you up before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to shield you from those who seek to harm you. The Bible assures us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on this promise, declaring that the Lord is your defender and protector. The psalmist writes, "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1). Let this truth anchor your heart as you trust in Him.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You surround this dear one with Your heavenly hosts, that no harm or evil intent may come near them. Shield them from the schemes of the enemy, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Clothe them with the full armor of God so that they may stand firm against the devil’s schemes.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, intimidation, and oppression that may be seeking to trouble this child of Yours. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they walk in the confidence of Your protection, knowing that You are their fortress and deliverer.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for them, that they may recognize the devices of the enemy and avoid the snares set before them. Grant them the courage to stand firm in their faith, even in the face of adversity. Remind them that You are always with them, and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).
In all things, may they continue to seek You, trust in You, and give You the glory. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love and protection. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
