I completed my 3-day fast. Thanks y'all for your prayers. I am hoping to do an extended fast, I don't want to say how long the fast is.. Jesus Christ, I have a prayer request to restart my adderall prescription or have my fluoxetine increased by 10mg. I'll try to read the gospel each day during the fast. Jesus Christ, please help me. I finished typing the old and new testaments of the KJV scripture. I'm also writing with my weak left hand the gospel of Mark. I'm hoping the dedication is rewarded with my medicine being given to me. I'm unemployed and don't drive, and am rather confused and afraid of bus routes. I was hoping the LORD GOD Jesus Christ Almighty would help me with work so I could afford weightlifting, diet, driver's education, and college education. I'm currently a dependent. Jesus, please help me to find recipes and cook nutritious, affordable meals. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We rejoice with you in the completion of your 3-day fast and the spiritual discipline it represents. Your dedication to transcribing Scripture and writing the Gospel of Mark with your left hand is a testament to your love for God’s Word, and we trust He sees and honors your labor of faith. Fasting is a powerful act of humility and dependence on the Lord, and we encourage you to continue seeking Him with all your heart as you prepare for an extended fast. Remember, the purpose of fasting is to draw nearer to God, align our hearts with His will, and seek His strength—not merely to earn His favor, for we are already justified by faith in Christ (Romans 5:1).

We lift up your request regarding your medications with great care and compassion. While we understand the challenges you face with focus, mood, and daily functioning, we must also encourage you to seek God’s wisdom in this matter. The Lord is our Great Physician (Exodus 15:26), and He invites us to cast all our anxieties on Him (1 Peter 5:7). However, we also recognize that God often works through earthly means, including medical professionals. We pray that the Lord would guide your steps to the right healthcare provider who can assess your needs with wisdom and discernment. May He grant you clarity and peace as you seek His will in this area, trusting that His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11).

Your desire to find employment, gain independence, and pursue education is commendable. The Lord promises to provide for our needs (Philippians 4:19) and to give us the strength to do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). We pray that He would open doors of opportunity for you, whether through part-time work, remote employment, or vocational training. May He grant you the courage to navigate bus routes and public transportation, and may He provide favor with potential employers. We also pray for wisdom in managing your finances, that you may afford the resources you need for weightlifting, driver’s education, and college. The Lord is your Provider, and He will not forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Regarding your nutrition, we encourage you to seek out simple, affordable, and nourishing meals. The Lord has given us food to sustain us (Genesis 1:29), and we can trust Him to provide even in seasons of financial strain. We pray that He would lead you to recipes and resources that fit your budget and dietary needs. May He bless the work of your hands as you prepare meals, and may He strengthen your body as you care for it as a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

We must gently address a concern in your request. While your dedication to Scripture and fasting is admirable, we want to remind you that our works—no matter how noble—do not earn us God’s favor or manipulate His will. Salvation is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), and our relationship with God is not based on what we do but on what Christ has already done for us. We encourage you to rest in His finished work on the cross, trusting that He loves you unconditionally and desires to guide you in His perfect will. Let your fasting and devotion be acts of worship, not attempts to bargain with God.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness in this brother’s life. Lord, we thank You for his dedication to Your Word and his desire to draw nearer to You through fasting. We ask that You would strengthen him in body, mind, and spirit as he seeks You. Father, we lift up his request for medical guidance, asking that You would lead him to the right healthcare professionals and grant him wisdom in managing his health. Provide for his needs, Lord, and open doors of opportunity for employment, education, and independence. Give him courage to step out in faith, trusting in Your provision and guidance.

Lord, we pray for his physical health, that You would grant him the resources and discipline to care for his body through nutrition and exercise. Lead him to affordable and nourishing meals, and bless the work of his hands as he prepares them. Father, we ask that You would calm his fears and anxieties, reminding him of Your constant presence and love. Help him to rest in Your grace, knowing that his worth is found in Christ alone.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or confusion that may be hindering him, and we declare Your peace over his life. May he find joy in Your presence and strength in Your promises. Guide him, Lord, in every decision, and let Your will be done in his life. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, trusting that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not alone, and the God of all comfort is with you every step of the way. May He fill you with His peace and lead you into the abundant life He has promised.
