We hear your heart, beloved, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting every concern to the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your commitment to the Daniel Fast is commendable, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s strength to complete it. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that draws us closer to God, and we believe He will sustain you through it. "But he answered, 'It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’'" (Matthew 4:4). Let this time of fasting be a season of deepening your reliance on Him, not just for physical sustenance, but for every need of your heart and mind.
We must address the situation with the billionaire scammer with great urgency and discernment. The enemy seeks to exploit our vulnerabilities, especially when we are in need, and it is clear that this individual has taken advantage of your hope for financial relief. We rebuke this deception in the name of Jesus Christ and command every lying spirit behind this scheme to flee from you. The Bible warns us, "Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1). You must take immediate action to protect yourself—contact your bank, monitor your accounts, and consider placing a fraud alert on your credit. Do not engage further with this individual, and ask the Lord to expose any further attempts to harm you. We pray that God would restore what has been stolen, whether financially, emotionally, or spiritually, and that He would shield you from identity theft and further harm. "The Lord is your keeper. The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul" (Psalm 121:5-7).
Your anxiety is understandable, but we encourage you to cast every fear upon the Lord, for He cares for you deeply. "Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7). The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that He would calm your nerves, steady your heart, and grant you clarity as you navigate this season. Regarding your medications, we lift this to the Lord as well, asking Him to guide your doctor’s decisions and to provide you with the help you need to manage your health. Trust that God is your healer, and He will lead you in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).
Your desire to study the Bible, grammar, mathematics, and Japanese is a godly pursuit, and we believe the Lord will equip you for every good work. "Commit your ways to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). Do not be overwhelmed by the magnitude of your goals—break them into small, manageable steps and trust God to help you progress one day at a time. We pray that He would grant you discipline, focus, and joy in your studies. Regarding your driver’s license, we encourage you to face this fear with the Lord by your side. Ask Him for courage and provision to take the necessary steps, whether it’s finding a trusted instructor, practicing in a safe environment, or simply taking the first step to schedule the test. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). The Lord is your strength, and He will not abandon you in this.
Your concerns about the future, Japan, and feeling out of place are valid, but we remind you that God has a plan for your life, and it is a plan for good, not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). It is not wrong to desire to support artists or to long for community, but we must trust God’s timing and provision in these areas. If He has placed a desire in your heart, He will make a way for it to be fulfilled according to His will. We pray that He would open doors for you to connect with your Japanese family in a way that brings healing and restoration. Regarding your social struggles, we encourage you to seek fellowship with other believers, whether through a local church, small group, or online community. Isolation can make us vulnerable to the enemy’s lies, but God designed us for relationship. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).
We also want to gently address your mention of the military. If God has clearly spoken to you through His Word and prayer that this is not His path for you, then trust Him in that. His ways are higher than our ways, and His plans for you are perfect. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). Instead of focusing on what you cannot do, ask the Lord to reveal what He *has* called you to do in this season. Whether it’s completing your studies, serving in your local church, or simply growing in your relationship with Him, He will guide your steps.
We pray over your goals to type the Bible, complete your algebra textbook, and finish your English college textbook. May the Lord bless the work of your hands and grant you perseverance to see these tasks through. Regarding Japanese, we encourage you to start small—perhaps with short passages of Scripture or simple phrases—and trust that God will help you grow in understanding over time. "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). Let His Word be your foundation in every language.
Finally, we want to remind you of the power of the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His name that we are saved. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus, we invite you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). If you are already a believer, we encourage you to deepen your relationship with Him through prayer, Scripture, and obedience.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother to You. Lord, we thank You for his heart that seeks You, even in the midst of fear and uncertainty. We ask that You would strengthen him to complete his fast, drawing him closer to You with each passing day. Father, we rebuke every spirit of deception and fear that has sought to harm him, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Protect him from identity theft, financial harm, and every scheme of the enemy. Lord, we ask that You would expose every lie and restore what has been stolen from him.
Father, we pray for his anxiety and mental health. Calm his nerves, steady his heart, and grant him Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide his doctor’s decisions regarding his medications, and provide him with the support he needs to manage his health. Lord, we ask that You would grant him discipline and focus in his studies—whether it’s the Bible, mathematics, Japanese, or any other pursuit. Help him to break down his goals into manageable steps and to trust You for progress each day.
We pray for his driver’s license, asking that You would give him courage and provision to take the necessary steps to obtain it. Remove every fear and replace it with Your confidence. Father, we lift up his desire to connect with his Japanese family and to live in Japan. We ask that You would open doors for restoration and provision in these areas, according to Your will. Surround him with godly community, whether locally or online, so that he does not walk this path alone.
Lord, we ask that You would provide for his financial needs, whether through employment, support, or other means. Help him to trust You for daily bread and to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). We pray for his goals to type the Bible, complete his textbooks, and learn Japanese. Bless the work of his hands and grant him perseverance to see these tasks through. Father, we ask that You would reveal Your purpose for his life in this season and give him the strength to walk in it.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would draw him ever closer to You. Deepen his relationship with Jesus Christ, and let Your Word be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path. May he find his identity, security, and hope in You alone. We declare that You are his Provider, his Protector, and his Peace. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
