We join you in lifting this concern to our Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. It is wonderful to see you calling upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, and it is through faith in His name that we receive healing, protection, and deliverance. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Your awareness of spiritual attacks is commendable, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). However, we must also remember that not every trial or inconvenience is a demonic attack—sometimes, the Lord allows small trials to refine us, teach us dependence on Him, and strengthen our faith. *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing"* (James 1:2-4, WEB).
If there is lingering guilt or condemnation over past failures in your work, we urge you to release it to Jesus, for He has already borne your sins and iniquities on the cross. *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"* (Romans 8:1, WEB). The enemy often uses past mistakes to weigh us down with shame, but Christ has set us free—*"So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36, WEB). Repent where necessary, seek His forgiveness, and then walk forward in the freedom and confidence He has purchased for you.
As for your growth in skill and strength, we encourage you to trust in the Lord’s provision and timing. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). He is the one who equips us for every good work, and He will faithfully complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Lean on Him in prayer, study His Word diligently, and seek wisdom from godly mentors or resources that align with Scripture. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your mercy and grace that sustains us each day. Lord, we lift up Your child who seeks Your protection and deliverance from what they perceive as spiritual attacks. Father, we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly host, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Rebuke any schemes of the enemy that seek to bring fear, doubt, or distraction into their life. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we pray that You would free them from any lingering guilt or condemnation over past mistakes. Remind them that they are a new creation in Christ, and old things have passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in confidence, wisdom, and skill, knowing that You are their strength and their portion forever.
Father, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for growth and progress in their work. Equip them with the skills and knowledge they need, and let them walk in excellence for Your glory. Help them to trust in Your provision and to seek Your Kingdom above all else. May they find rest in Your promises and joy in Your presence, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement in the name of Jesus. Let Your light shine brightly in their life, exposing any darkness and filling them with hope and faith. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them rise above every challenge, knowing that You have overcome the world (John 16:33).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and love. May Your child continue to grow in grace, wisdom, and favor with You and with others. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
