We join you in lifting up your heartfelt cries to our Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone is your healer, deliverer, and refuge. It is beautiful to see you calling upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through Him alone we have access to the Father. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon Him is a testament to your trust in His power, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace.
The pain in your body and the spiritual oppression you describe are not beyond the authority of Jesus Christ. He has already triumphed over every power and principality, and by His stripes, you *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5). Yet we also recognize that our bodies, though temples of the Holy Spirit, are subject to the brokenness of this fallen world. Still, we do not lose heart, for our Lord is faithful. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). We pray that He would strengthen your wrists and legs, removing all pain and fear of injury so that you may move freely in the purpose He has for you. Let the Holy Spirit fill you with motivation and discipline, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Exercise is a stewardship of the body He has given you, and we ask that He would guide you into wisdom in how to care for it without fear.
You have also spoken of a "haggling spirit" that mocks you for your failures and hinders your progress. This is not of God, for our Lord does not condemn His children but convicts and corrects in love. *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1, WEB). Any voice that accuses you or seeks to paralyze you with shame is a lie from the enemy, and we rebuked it now in the name of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus silences every accusation, and we declare that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you (Romans 8:37). Let the truth of God’s Word be your shield: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Your mention of perceived religious oppression and the contention of faith is deeply concerning. It is true that the enemy seeks to distort the things of God, using even well-meaning people to bring confusion or bondage rather than the freedom found in Christ. But take heart, for Jesus has set you free indeed (John 8:36), and no one can snatch you out of His hand (John 10:28). If there are those—whether relatives, strangers, or even spiritual forces—seeking to invade your peace or hinder your walk with God, we pray that the Lord would expose their schemes and place a hedge of protection around you. *"Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower"* (Psalm 18:2, WEB). You are hidden in Christ, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
We also lift up those you mentioned who suffer from bodily damage—those with injuries of concrete, stone, and metal. May the Lord bring healing and restoration to their bodies, and may they too find refuge in Him. Let His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Finally, we encourage you to cling to the truth that your progress is not measured by the standards of this world or the taunts of the enemy, but by the faithfulness of God who began a good work in you and will complete it (Philippians 1:6). When you feel weak, remember that His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Let your time in prayer and Scripture be a sanctuary where no oppression can penetrate, for *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB).
**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your healing, deliverance, and refuge. Lord, You know the pain in their wrists and legs, and we ask that You would touch those areas with Your healing power. Remove every trace of fear and replace it with faith and courage to steward their body well for Your glory. We rebuked any spirit of infirmity or oppression in the name of Jesus, commanding it to flee and never return.
Lord, we pray against the haggling spirit that mocks and accuses. Silence its voice, Father, and let the truth of Your Word resonate loudly in their heart. Remind them that they are forgiven, loved, and empowered by Your Spirit to walk in victory. Break every chain of religious oppression and contention, and let them experience the true freedom found in Christ alone. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper.
We pray for those suffering from bodily damage—bring healing and comfort to them, Lord. Let them know that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Father, fill our brother/sister with Your peace and providence. Let them see progress not by the world’s standards but through the lens of Your faithfulness. Strengthen them to press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. We thank You, Lord, for Your goodness and mercy that follow them all the days of their life.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
