Jesus Christ, please destroy a soul that appears to possess my body and then causes me to speak. Jesus Christ, please destroy the person who purposely wastes my time with speech just to interject. Jesus Christ, please save me from betraying myself. God, please slaughter. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear the deep anguish and spiritual distress in your words, and we are grieved by the torment you are experiencing. Your cry for deliverance is one we take seriously, as the battle you describe is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness. Let us first address the heart of your request with truth and prayer, for we know that our God is mighty to save, deliver, and bring peace to His children.

The language you’ve used—asking for destruction, slaughter, and harm—reveals a heart that is understandably wounded but also in danger of being led by anger, bitterness, or even spiritual deception. The Bible is clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). While your pain is real, we must remember that our battle is spiritual, and our weapons are not carnal but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Jesus teaches us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who spitefully use us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we tolerate abuse or oppression, but it does mean we entrust justice to God, who alone is the righteous Judge (Romans 12:19).

You mention a "soul that appears to possess my body" and causes you to speak. This is a serious matter, and we must approach it with both discernment and the authority we have in Christ. The Bible warns us that Satan himself transforms into an angel of light, and his ministers as servants of righteousness (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). If you are experiencing spiritual oppression or even possession, know that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Jesus has already triumphed over every power of darkness through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15). You have authority in His name to resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). However, this authority must be exercised in faith, humility, and submission to God.

We also notice that you ask God to "slaughter" and to destroy another person. While we understand the depth of your frustration, this is not the heart of God toward His creation. Even in the face of betrayal or manipulation, we are called to forgive as Christ forgave us (Colossians 3:13). Jesus, while being betrayed, abused, and ultimately crucified, prayed, "Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing" (Luke 23:34). This is the heart we are to cultivate—one that seeks redemption, not vengeance. If someone is wasting your time or causing you harm, pray for their salvation and for God to either change their heart or remove their influence from your life. Ask God to give you wisdom on how to set boundaries and to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

You also ask God to save you from betraying yourself. This is a profound plea, and we want to assure you that God is faithful. The apostle Paul struggled with the tension between the desires of his flesh and the will of his spirit, crying out, "O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me out of this body of death?" (Romans 7:24). His answer was the same as yours must be: "I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord!" (Romans 7:25). You are not alone in this battle. The Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26), and Jesus Himself is our advocate before the Father (1 John 2:1). Lean on Him, and He will keep you from stumbling.

Lastly, we want to commend you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Your acknowledgment of His name is crucial, for it is the name above every name, and at His name, every knee will bow (Philippians 2:10). We encourage you to continue to pray in His name, for it is a strong tower where the righteous can run and be safe (Proverbs 18:10).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is crying out for deliverance and peace. Lord, we ask that You would expose every dark force that seeks to oppress or possess them. By the blood of Jesus, we command every unclean spirit to flee and be bound in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your light drive out every shadow of darkness in their life. We pray for a hedge of protection around their mind, body, and spirit, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we also lift up the individuals who have caused them pain. You see their hearts, and You know their motives. We ask that You would either convict them of their sin and lead them to repentance or remove their influence from this child’s life. Father, guard our brother or sister from bitterness and anger. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven them, and to release every offense into Your hands. Teach them to trust You as their vindicator, for You have promised that vengeance is Yours (Deuteronomy 32:35).

We pray for their words, Lord. May the words of their mouth and the meditation of their heart be acceptable in Your sight (Psalm 19:14). If there is any confusion or deception, we ask that You would bring clarity and truth. Let them speak only what edifies and builds up, and silence every voice that is not from You.

Father, we ask that You would save them from betraying themselves. Strengthen them in their inner being through Your Spirit (Ephesians 3:16). Help them to walk in obedience to Your Word, and to resist the enemy firmly in their faith. Remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

We thank You for the peace, providence, and progress they have already seen in Jesus’ name. We declare that You are their peace, and in You, they can rest. Provide for their every need, and lead them forward into the destiny You have prepared for them. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, and let Your joy be their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We urge you to surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and support you in this season. If you do not have a local church or community of faith, we encourage you to seek one out, for we are not meant to walk this journey alone (Hebrews 10:24-25). Additionally, we recommend immersing yourself in the Word of God daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Memorize scriptures that declare your identity in Christ and your authority over the enemy.

If you are struggling with feelings of betrayal or self-sabotage, we encourage you to meditate on the truth of God’s love for you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and nothing can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39). Cling to these promises, and let them anchor your soul in the storm.

Lastly, if you have not already, we encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that you have fully surrendered your life to Jesus Christ. If you have never confessed Him as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so now (Romans 10:9). There is no greater security than knowing you are His, and He is yours. If you have already made this commitment, we encourage you to renew your dedication to Him daily, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).

Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Trust in Him, and He will bring you through this victory.

Dear friend, we hear your cry and we're here to stand with you in prayer. We understand that you're going through something incredibly challenging, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're going to lift you up to the Lord, asking Him to fill you with His peace and to drive out any darkness that's been oppressing you.

We want to encourage you to keep speaking truth over your life. You're a child of God, loved and cherished by Him. The enemy wants to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give you life, and life more abundantly (John 10:10). So, we declare over you today that you are free, you are loved, and you are a conqueror through Christ.

We also want to remind you that forgiveness is key. It's not easy, but it's a path to freedom. Jesus forgave those who crucified Him, and He asks us to do the same. It doesn't mean what happened was okay, but it means we trust God for justice and we choose to love and bless those who have hurt us.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our ###. Lord, we ask that You would reveal any spiritual oppression or deception in their life. By the power of Your blood, we command every unclean spirit to flee and be bound in the name of Jesus Christ. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your light drive out every shadow of darkness in their life.

Lord, we also lift up the individuals who have caused them pain. You see their hearts, and You know their motives. We ask that You would either convict them of their sin and lead them to repentance, or remove their influence from this child's life. Guard our ### from bitterness and anger. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven them, and to release every offense into Your hands.

We thank You for the peace, providence, and progress they've already seen in Jesus' name. We declare that You are their peace, and in You, they can rest. Provide for their every need, and lead them forward into the destiny You've prepared for them. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, and let Your joy be their strength.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."
