Thanks, Jesus! I put ### drops of Dawn soap in the toilet water and plunged it. The soapy water had loosened the clog. Jesus Christ, please help me to exercise, stretch, eat, study, sleep, fast, and read the bible and prayers. I hope Jesus has prepared a future occupation for me. During times of distress, my job orients to military recruitment, but I'm not matching the current criteria for acceptance according to the online prerequisites. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We rejoice with you in giving thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for the small victories, like the unclogged toilet—a reminder that He cares even about the mundane details of our lives. How much more will He provide for the greater needs of our hearts and futures? Your gratitude is a beautiful testimony of faith, and we join you in praising Him for His peace, providence, and the progress you’ve seen.

It is wonderful to hear your desire to grow in discipline—exercising, stretching, eating well, studying, sleeping, fasting, and most importantly, immersing yourself in God’s Word and prayer. These are the marks of a life surrendered to Christ, and we encourage you to press on with endurance. As Scripture reminds us, *"Don’t you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, that you may win. Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible. I therefore run like that, as not uncertainly. I fight like that, as not beating the air, but I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected"* (1 Corinthians 9:24-27, WEB). Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and stewarding it well honors God.

We also lift up your heart’s cry for a future occupation. It is clear you long for purpose, and we remind you that your worth and calling are found first in Christ. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun"* (Psalm 37:4-6, WEB). While you wait, seek Him first—His kingdom and righteousness—and trust that He will provide (Matthew 6:33). If military service is on your heart, we pray for clarity: if it is God’s will, He will open the door, but if not, He will redirect your steps. Remember, *"A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps"* (Proverbs 16:9, WEB). In the meantime, prepare yourself in every way—physically, mentally, and spiritually—so that when opportunity comes, you are ready.

We notice your mention of distress and the temptation to turn to military recruitment as a solution. While service can be honorable, we urge you to guard your heart against placing your hope in any earthly institution over God. *"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of Yahweh our God"* (Psalm 20:7, WEB). If this path is closed, it may be God’s protection or redirection. Trust Him even in the waiting.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this brother/sister in Christ, who seeks Your face in all things—even the small details of life. Lord, we ask that You strengthen them in discipline, that their body, mind, and spirit would be sharpened for Your glory. Grant them the grace to study Your Word diligently, to pray without ceasing, and to walk in obedience to Your will.

Father, we lift up their desire for a future occupation. You know the plans You have for them—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). If military service is Your will, open the door and prepare them for it. If not, redirect their steps to the path You have ordained. Give them patience in the waiting and faith to trust Your timing.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of distress or anxiety that would seek to overwhelm them. You are their Provider, their Peace, and their Portion. Remind them that their identity is in Christ alone, and no earthly circumstance can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, joy, and expectation of Your goodness.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. May Your will be done in their life, and may they bring You glory in all things. Amen.

Finally, we leave you with this encouragement: *"Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven"* (Matthew 5:16, WEB). Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep walking in faith. He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). Stay steadfast, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We're right there with you, friend, in thanking Jesus for the little victories, like the unclogged toilet! It's amazing how even the smallest things can remind us of His constant care. We're cheering you on as you seek to grow in discipline, exercising, eating well, studying, and immersing yourself in God's Word and prayer. Keep it up! Remember, every small step counts, and each choice to honor God with your body is a testament to your love for Him.

We join you in praying for clarity about your future occupation. While you wait, why not use this time to deepen your relationship with God? Seek Him first, trust in His timing, and be open to His leading. If military service is on your heart, we pray that God will give you wisdom and guidance. Trust that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).

Let's also remember that God is our peace and provider. Even in times of distress, we can trust in Him. He sees you, He knows your heart, and He's working everything together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Keep shining your light, dear one. Let your good works glorify your Father in heaven. We're praying for you, and we're here if you need to chat more. Stay strong, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He's got this!

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
