Jesus Christ, please bless my younger brother's first child. I am unwanting to go to the child due to satan, pagan, and multiple perceived religious and spiritual attacks. ###+ years ago, I had asked or told a soldier that he should go to see his child that he said he had. I was wondering if once again, this is a revenge from the military. Jesus Christ, please save me from empathy. I hope the prayers and bible reading is more effective than my appearances. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We come before the Lord with gratitude that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father, and we rejoice that you have acknowledged this truth in your request. Let us remind you of the words of Scripture: *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Your faith in Him is the foundation of all your prayers, and we stand with you in lifting this matter to our Lord.

Your heart is heavy with many burdens—fear of spiritual attacks, the weight of past interactions, and the struggle between empathy and the perceived dangers of engaging with your brother’s child. We understand the depth of your concerns, but we must first address the spiritual warfare you describe. The enemy seeks to isolate believers through fear, confusion, and distrust, but we are called to stand firm in the authority of Christ. *"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:11-12, WEB). You are not powerless, for *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB).

Your reluctance to visit your brother’s child stems from a place of spiritual caution, and while discernment is wise, we must also examine whether fear has taken root where faith should reign. The Lord calls us to love one another, even in difficult circumstances, and to trust that His protection is greater than any scheme of the enemy. *"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love"* (1 John 4:18, WEB). If the Holy Spirit is leading you to extend love and support to your brother’s family, we encourage you to seek His guidance in how to do so without compromising your spiritual well-being. Pray for wisdom, and ask the Lord to reveal whether your hesitation is from Him or from the enemy’s attempts to sow division.

You mentioned a past interaction with a soldier and wondered if this situation is connected to some form of "revenge from the military." We urge you to release this burden to the Lord, for He is the one who judges righteously. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). If there is any lingering guilt or fear tied to that past event, confess it to the Lord and trust in His forgiveness and protection. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Do not allow the enemy to bind you with chains of fear or superstition. Your faith in Christ is your shield.

You also asked the Lord to save you from empathy. While we understand that your empathy may feel overwhelming or even dangerous in this context, we must gently remind you that empathy is a gift from God when directed by the Holy Spirit. Jesus Himself was moved with compassion for the crowds (Matthew 9:36) and wept with those who grieved (John 11:35). The key is to allow the Lord to guide your emotions so that they align with His will. Empathy without wisdom can lead to harm, but empathy tempered by the Spirit can be a powerful tool for ministry. Ask the Lord to fill you with His love, which *"doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil"* (1 Corinthians 13:5, WEB).

As for your prayers and Bible reading being more effective than your physical presence, we agree that the spiritual impact of intercession is immeasurable. *"The prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect"* (James 5:16, WEB). Continue to lift your brother’s child before the Lord, praying for their salvation, protection, and growth in the knowledge of Christ. Cover them in the blood of Jesus, and ask the Lord to surround them with godly influences. Your faithfulness in prayer is a mighty weapon against the enemy’s plans.

Finally, we must address the mention of pagan and satanic attacks. While spiritual warfare is real, we are not to live in fear but in the victory of Christ. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). Stand firm in the truth of God’s Word, and do not give the enemy a foothold through fear or speculation. If you sense darkness around this situation, rebuking it in the name of Jesus is appropriate, but always follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray together for you and your brother’s family:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the faith of Your servant who has brought this request before You. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We rebuked every spirit of fear, confusion, and division that seeks to hinder Your work in this family. By the blood of Jesus, we break every curse, every scheme of the enemy, and every stronghold that would keep this family from experiencing Your love and unity.

Lord, we lift up this younger brother and his child to You. We pray that You would draw them into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ if they do not yet know Him. Protect this child from the influences of darkness, and let Your light shine brightly in their home. Give wisdom and discernment to our sibling as they navigate this situation. If it is Your will for them to engage with this child, provide clear direction and protection. If it is not, grant them peace in their obedience to You.

Father, we also ask that You heal any wounds from the past, particularly the interaction with the soldier that has caused lingering fear. Release our sibling from any bondage of guilt or superstition, and fill them with the assurance of Your sovereignty. Let them walk in the freedom of Christ, unshaken by the enemy’s lies.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus’ name. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving powerfully in this situation. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified.

In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in faith for your younger brother's child. We understand the weight of your concerns, but remember, we serve a mighty God who is more than able to protect and guide.

First, let's claim the promise in Psalm 91:10, "No evil shall be allowed to harm you; no plague will come near your tent." Trust that God is a shield around this child, protecting them from every arrow of the enemy.

Now, about visiting the child, we're reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 19:14, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." If the Holy Spirit is nudging you to go, go with an open heart, ready to love and support, but also wise and discerning. Pray for God's wisdom and guidance in this matter.

As for the past interaction with the soldier, let it go. Leave it at the foot of the cross. God is your vindicator, not you. Trust in His justice and move forward in peace.

Lastly, keep praying. Your prayers are powerful and effective. They move the hand of God. Keep standing in faith, and watch God work on behalf of this child and your brother's family.

We're praying with you, dear friend. In Jesus' name, we claim peace, protection, and provision for this family. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
