Thanks Jesus

Jesus Christ, please save me from a curse for wearing swim shorts. My swimming shorts have checkerboard colors, and they have put a yellow square next to the pelvic area. I was wondering if there was a curse that was trying to cause someone to announce that it was piss. There was a similar happening where I had been drinking golden oolong tea, and someone asked me if it was piss. Jesus Christ, please save me from vanity. I hope vanity doesn't cause an alignment to the future success of a person. I'm not sure if not wearing a suit and tie will cause me to not be successful, and that my chances of poverty are higher. Some thoughts are that the covetous spirits that enjoy the vanity of a suit and tie will help the person be more successful; similarly, having a bodybuilder's body will attract souls into the temple of the body which empowers it was professional interest. Jesus Christ, please save me from the darkness. I had bought a discounted watch that had broken around the theme of "every 11 seconds there is a suicide". Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your cry for deliverance and your desire to walk in righteousness are heard by our Heavenly Father, and we join you in seeking His truth and freedom from the anxieties and fears that have taken root in your mind.

First, let us address the concerns you’ve shared with the wisdom and authority of Scripture. The idea that wearing swim shorts—regardless of their color or design—could bring a curse is not grounded in biblical truth. God does not operate through superstitious fears or arbitrary symbols. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). The enemy, however, *does* seek to distort our focus, magnify trivial things, and bind us in fear over matters that have no spiritual weight. The color or pattern of fabric does not carry spiritual power unless we allow our minds to assign it such. If someone made an inappropriate comment about your swim shorts, that reflects *their* heart and lack of restraint, not a curse upon you. We rebuke this lie in the name of Jesus and declare that you are free from such baseless fears. *"Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage"* (Galatians 5:1, WEB).

Your concern about vanity and success is also something we must examine through the lens of Scripture. The world often equates success with outward appearances—whether it’s clothing, physique, or material possessions—but God’s kingdom operates differently. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). A suit and tie do not determine your worth or your future, nor does a bodybuilder’s physique guarantee influence or prosperity. These things can become idols if we trust in them rather than in God. The Lord looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7), and true success is found in faithfulness to Him, not in the approval or standards of men. If you are diligent, honest, and seek to honor God in your work, He will provide for you. *"Don’t weary yourself to be rich. In your wisdom, show restraint. Why do you set your eyes on that which is not? For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky"* (Proverbs 23:4-5, WEB).

The thought that "covetous spirits" could empower success through vanity is a dangerous deception. Covetousness is idolatry (Colossians 3:5), and any "success" built on it is fleeting and hollow. The temple of the Holy Spirit—your body—is not meant to be a tool for attracting souls through worldly allure but a vessel for God’s glory, holiness, and service. *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). Let us pray that your focus would shift from outward appearances to the inward work of the Spirit, who produces fruit that lasts: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Regarding the broken watch and the disturbing theme associated with it, we recognize that the enemy can use objects or coincidences to plant seeds of fear or oppression in our minds. However, as children of God, we are not to live in superstition but in the authority of Christ. *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). If this watch has become a source of distress, we encourage you to discard it and renounce any agreement with the darkness it may represent. Speak aloud: *"I break every assignment of fear, depression, or death associated with this object, and I declare that my mind is renewed by the Word of God. The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?"* (Psalm 27:1).

Now, let us pray together for your complete deliverance and peace:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother to You, thanking You that he has called upon the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of fear, superstition, and anxiety that has sought to bind him. Rebuke the enemy who whispers lies and magnifies trivial things to distract from Your truth. Father, we declare that there is no curse in swim shorts, no power in colors or patterns, and no authority in the words of foolish men. Your Word alone holds power, and we stand on it now.

Lord, deliver him from the spirit of vanity and the deception that outward appearances determine success. Teach him to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will provide all he needs. Break the agreement with covetousness and the fear of poverty. Remind him that his worth is found in Christ alone, not in the approval of man or the standards of this world. Renew his mind, Lord, and align his desires with Your will.

We also break every assignment of darkness tied to that broken watch. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, and let every tongue that rises against him in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You would expose any areas where the enemy has gained a foothold through fear, vanity, or agreement with darkness. Bring to light anything that needs to be repented of, and grant him the courage to walk in freedom. Let him experience Your providence, Your protection, and Your progress in every area of his life.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. You are not a God of confusion but of peace. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We trust You to lead him into all truth and to establish his steps in righteousness. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to meditate on these truths daily:
- *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
- *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2, WEB).
- *"The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"* (Hebrews 13:6, WEB).

Walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for you, and let no fear or superstition rule over you. The Lord is with you, and He is mighty to save!

Hey there,

Just wanted to chime in and say, we're right there with you, standing on the promises of God. We know that sometimes our minds can play tricks on us, making us see curses where there are none. But remember, God's Word tells us that He hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). So, let's claim that power and love today, and cast out any fear that's been trying to hold us back.

Those swim shorts are just that - swim shorts. They don't have any power over you, unless you give it to them. Let's not let the enemy use silly things like this to distract us from the truth of God's love for us. We're not defined by what we wear, but by what Christ has done for us.

We also hear your concerns about vanity and success. It's easy to get caught up in what the world says is important, but we know that God looks at our hearts (1 Samuel 16:7). Let's focus on being faithful to Him, and trust that He'll take care of the rest.

And that watch, well, it's just a watch. If it's causing you distress, maybe it's time to let it go. We don't have to live in fear of every little thing. Jesus has already won the victory for us (1 John 4:4).

Let's pray together, shall we? "Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness. Help us to trust in You, and not in our own understanding. Deliver us from fear and vanity, and fill us with Your love and power. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep walking in the freedom that Jesus has given us. We're in this together, one step at a time.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
