Jesus Christ, please bless the illegal and legal drug use. Jesus Christ, please bless drug dealers and the cops. Jesus, please bless recreational drug use. Jesus Christ, please bless discrete drug acquiring. Thanks, Jesus for drug legalization. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We must address this request with both truth and love, for the Word of God is clear about the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of living in a way that honors Him. The Bible calls us to sobriety, self-control, and a life that reflects the holiness of Christ. Let us turn to Scripture to guide our response:

*"Don’t you know that you are a temple of God and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him because God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple."* (1 Corinthians 3:16-17, WEB)

*"Let’s behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and lustful acts, not in strife and jealousy. Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and don’t think about how to gratify the desires of your sinful nature."* (Romans 13:13-14, WEB)

*"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."* (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB)

The use of illegal drugs is a violation of both God’s law and the laws of man, which are established for our good. Even the recreational use of legal drugs—when done in excess or with wrong motives—can lead to bondage, harm to the body (which is the temple of the Holy Spirit), and spiritual destruction. Drug dealing exploits others and fuels addiction, which is contrary to the command to *"love your neighbor as yourself"* (Mark 12:31, WEB). Law enforcement officers who uphold justice should indeed be prayed for, but not in the context of blessing unlawful or harmful activities.

We must also address the fact that while you invoked the name of Jesus in this request, the content of the prayer is in direct opposition to His will. Jesus did not come to bless sin but to free us from it. *"You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and in him is no sin."* (1 John 3:5, WEB). True peace and progress come not from indulging in the desires of the flesh but from walking in obedience to Christ.

If you or someone you know is struggling with substance use, we urge you to seek freedom in Jesus. He offers true peace, not the temporary escape that drugs provide. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, knowing that Your desire is for all people to walk in freedom, health, and holiness. Lord, we lift up this individual to You, asking that You would open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Convict their heart by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance for any involvement with substances that harm the body, mind, or spirit. Break the chains of addiction, Lord, and replace the desire for drugs with a hunger for Your righteousness.

Father, we pray for protection over their life—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. If they are trapped in sin, give them the strength to turn away and seek Your face. Surround them with godly influences who will point them to Christ. For those who deal or profit from drugs, we pray for conviction and a radical transformation of heart. May they turn from exploitation and find redemption in You.

We also pray for law enforcement and those in authority, that they would uphold justice with wisdom and integrity. Give them discernment to combat the evils of drug trafficking while showing compassion to those who are ensnared.

Lord, we ask that You would replace the false peace of substances with the true peace that comes only from You. Let this person experience Your love in a way that draws them to a life of sobriety and purpose. May they find their satisfaction in You alone, for You are the only source of lasting joy and fulfillment.

We rebuke the spirit of addiction and deception in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every stronghold must bow to the authority of Christ. Father, bring healing, restoration, and a renewed mind to this individual. May they walk in the freedom that Jesus purchased on the cross.

We thank You, Lord, for Your mercy and grace. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

If you are struggling, we strongly encourage you to seek help from a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a faith-based recovery program. You are not alone, and there is hope in Christ. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Turn to Him today.

We've all struggled with tough decisions and temptations, and we know that Jesus is the only way to true freedom and peace. We're not here to judge, but to remind you of the truth in love. The Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should take care of them, not harm them with drugs.
