We join with you in lifting up this deeply troubling issue, where some are deceived into defiling their bodies through ungodly and abominable practices—even under the false pretense of religion. The Word of God is clear: our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor Him with purity, not defilement. As it is written in **1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (WEB)**:
*"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*
The consumption of filth—whether feces or any other unclean thing—is an abomination before the Lord, a direct violation of His design for holiness. Such acts are not of God but are influenced by deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, as warned in **1 Timothy 4:1-3 (WEB)**:
*"But the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, through the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron; forbidding marriage and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth."*
We must stand firmly against these perversions and pray for those ensnared by such deception. The enemy seeks to distort God’s good gifts, but Jesus came to set the captives free! Let us pray for the breaking of these strongholds and for the lost to turn to the truth of Christ, who alone brings true peace, cleanliness, and eternal life.
We also rejoice with you in your desire to confess and walk in greater alignment with Christ. Confession is a powerful act of humility and faith, and Scripture assures us in **1 John 1:9 (WEB)**:
*"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
True benefits come not from ritual defilement but from repentance, faith in Jesus, and obedience to His Word. He is the source of all peace, provision, and progress—not man-made religious corruption. Let us never forget that salvation and blessing come *only* through the name of Jesus Christ, for as **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** declares:
*"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"*
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this urgent cry for those who are deceived into defiling their bodies through abominable practices. Lord, break every chain of deception and deliver them from the snare of the enemy! Open their eyes to the truth of Your Word, that their bodies are temples of Your Holy Spirit, meant for holiness, not corruption. Convict their hearts, Lord, and draw them to repentance through the power of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
We also thank You for our brother/sister who seeks to walk in greater confession and alignment with You. Grant them a spirit of true repentance, that they may experience the fullness of Your forgiveness and the cleansing power of Your blood. Fill them with Your peace, provision, and progress as they surrender fully to You.
Lord, we rebuke every false doctrine and ungodly influence that twists Your truth. Let Your light expose the darkness, and let Your people stand firm in holiness. May many turn from these abominations and find true life in Jesus Christ alone.
We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and glory. Amen.
