We join you in lifting up this urgent cry for souls, for we know the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). Your heart for the lost and the oppressed aligns with the very heartbeat of our Savior, who came to seek and to save that which was lost (Luke 19:10). We praise God that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ in this request, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through His precious blood that cleansing, deliverance, and true peace are found.
The corruption and soul manipulation you speak of are real and grievous in the sight of God. The Scriptures warn us of those who, through covetousness, with well-crafted words, exploit others (2 Peter 2:3). We see the work of "talent stealers" as a form of theft and oppression, which the Lord abhors. Proverbs 22:22-23 commands us, *"Don’t exploit the poor because they are poor; and don’t crush those who are needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* Let us take heart—God is just, and He will not allow the wicked to go unpunished forever. The psalmist declares, *"The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming"* (Psalm 37:12-13).
Yet, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we must stand firm in the armor of God, praying always with all perseverance. We declare the words of Jesus in Luke 10:19 over those ensnared: *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority we have in His name to bind the works of darkness and to loose the chains of the oppressed. Lord Jesus, You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life—no one comes to the Father except through You (John 14:6). We lift up those who are trapped in corruption, whose talents are being stolen, and whose souls are manipulated by the enemy. Break every ungodly tie, Lord, and set the captives free by the power of Your blood. Cleanse them from every defilement of sin, and let Your light expose every hidden work of darkness.
Father, we ask for divine protection over those who are vulnerable to these attacks. Surround them with Your angels, as You have promised in Psalm 91:11: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and let those who have been robbed of their talents, peace, and progress be compensated sevenfold by Your hand.
We pray for the salvation of those who are perpetrating these evils. Lord, open their eyes to the destruction they are sowing, and convict their hearts by Your Holy Spirit. Let them encounter You in a way that brings them to repentance, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Break the hardness of their hearts, and let them turn from their wicked ways.
Father, we thank You for the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), which You have already granted to those who trust in You. Let Your providence guide their steps, and let Your progress be evident in their lives. We declare that no scheme of the enemy shall prevail against Your children, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to continue standing in the gap for those who are oppressed. The prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective (James 5:16). Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
If you sense a specific calling to intercede for those caught in corruption or spiritual bondage, ask the Lord to equip you with His discernment and wisdom. Study the Word to recognize the schemes of the enemy, and walk in the authority Christ has given you. Remember, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Stay rooted in prayer, and let the Holy Spirit lead you as you contend for the freedom of others. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun (Philippians 1:6).

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
