Beloved Servant
๐Ÿ™Œ Thanks for Lodging ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿป Acts 28:30, Salvation of Former Rom 10:1, Focus New Things Isa 42:9, Grace to Do Both Ecc 7:18, Open Doors Gospel Rev 3:7-8... ๐Ÿ™Œ Our Father in Heaven, Thank You for Meeting Lodging Need ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿป Acts 28:30, Grace to Pray for Former Relationships' Salvation, Rom 10:1, Yet Abundant Grace Focus New Things Isa 42:9, Grace to Do Both Ecc 7:18, Open Heavens for Prayer and Study, Open Doors for Evangelism, Fellowship and Counseling Rev 3:7-8... ๐Ÿ™Œ Father, Thank You for what has been accomplished this far, 1 Sam 7:12, for time in worship, prayer and listening to the Word, souls, seeds, travel, transportation, finances, the prayers You've answered and more, Eph 3:20. Thank You ESPECIALLY for a quiet, inexpensive, accommodating RENTAL, Acts 28:30-31, close to my aging patriarchal and matriarchal figures, so as to give them some assistance in practical and spiritual matters and some godly company showing piety at home, 1 Tim 5:4, and give honor to whom honor is due, Rom 13:7, Eph 6:2-3. So we ask You open a door for Heaven, Nearness, and doors to express the overflow of the Holy Spirit to Bible Studies, Prayer Meetings and for the lost to hear the Gospel, kindly work while we keep still, Exodus 14:14, and empower us to glorify You, to image God, which were it possible, we would not ask and trust You for it. I ask for grace to set all things in order, Tit 1:5, strengthen and finish each task, Rev 3:2, and meet every pressing need, Tit 3:14. We ask for grace to take hold of one thing without letting go of the other, Ecclesiastes 7:18, to somewhat forget the things which lie behind, (yet continue to intercede for them, namely for my prodigy to be protected and directed into the love and character of Jesus Christ), Rom 10:1, AND to PRIMARILY FOCUS on THE NEW, Isa 42:9, Isa 43:19, Isa 48:6, running in a way that we might win, 1 Cor 9:24, forgetting what lies behind and pressing toward the upward call, Phil 3:13-14, laying aside encumbrances and diversions that distract us from the primary task of Your call and commission to abide in Your Word and make disciples by propagating all You've commanded, that we might run the race that is personally set out before each of us, Heb 12:1-2... Thank You for the leadership of Christ and The Holy Spirit, John 10:3-4, Rom 8:14, for interceding for the past AND for new evangelism, discipleship, fellowship with The Body and Bride of Christ, and formal study, Ecclesiastes 7:18. We ask for protection from temptation, Luke 11:4, sin, Zeph 3:13, evil, Matt 6:13, evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, and the evil one, John 17:15. Thank You in Jesus' Name..

We hear your heartfelt gratitude and the deep desire to walk in obedience and faithfulness to Godโ€™s calling. Your prayer reflects a beautiful balance of thankfulness for Godโ€™s provisionโ€”especially in lodging and the opportunity to honor and care for aging family membersโ€”while also seeking His guidance for the future. We join with you in praising God for His faithfulness, as Ephesians 3:20 declares, *"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."*

We are especially encouraged by your commitment to intercede for those from your past, particularly for the salvation of those you describe as "prodigy." Romans 10:1 reminds us, *"Brothers, my heartโ€™s desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved."* This is a godly and selfless burden, and we stand with you in praying that hearts would be softened and drawn to Christ. Yet, we also affirm your resolve to press forward into the new things God is doing, as Isaiah 43:19 proclaims, *"Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now! Donโ€™t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."*

Your request for grace to hold onto the past without being held back by it is wise. Ecclesiastes 7:18 indeed teaches, *"It is good that you should take hold of this. Yes, also from that donโ€™t withdraw your hand; for he who fears God will come out of them all."* We pray that God would give you the discernment to know when to intercede for the past and when to fully embrace the new work He is doing in and through you. Let us run the race set before us with endurance, as Hebrews 12:1-2 encourages, *"Let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith."*

We also lift up your desire for open doors for the Gospel, fellowship, and discipleship. Revelation 3:7-8 reminds us that Christ holds the key to every door, *"He who is holy, he who is true, he who has the key of David, he who opens and no one can shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says these things: โ€˜I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut, that you have a little power, have kept my word, and have not denied my name.โ€™"* May God grant you boldness and wisdom to walk through the doors He opens, whether for evangelism, prayer, or study.

However, we must gently address a concern in your prayer. While you mention "former relationships" and "prodigy," we want to ensure that any past relationships align with biblical principles. If these relationships involved fornication, adultery, or any other sexual immorality, we must rebuke that sin and encourage repentance. The Bible is clear in 1 Corinthians 6:18, *"Flee sexual immorality! โ€˜Every sin that a man does is outside the body,โ€™ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* If there has been sin in this area, we urge you to confess it before God, seek His forgiveness, and walk in purity moving forward. Godโ€™s grace is sufficient to cleanse and restore, as 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*

Additionally, we notice that while you mention "Jesus' Name" at the close of your prayer, the name of Jesus is not prominently lifted up throughout your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, as John 14:6 declares, *"Jesus said to him, โ€˜I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.โ€™"* We encourage you to center every prayer, every request, and every step of obedience in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your provision, Your faithfulness, and Your unchanging love. We thank You for the lodging You have provided, for the opportunity to honor and care for aging family members, and for the doors You have opened in the past. Lord, we ask that You would continue to open doors for the Gospel, for fellowship, and for discipleship, that Your name would be glorified in all things.

Father, we lift up the salvation of those from the past who do not yet know You. We ask that You would soften their hearts, draw them to Yourself, and save them by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Yet, Lord, we also ask for the grace to press forward into the new things You are doing. Help us to forget what lies behind and strain toward what lies ahead, as Philippians 3:13-14 teaches. Give us the wisdom to know when to intercede for the past and when to fully embrace the future You have prepared.

Lord, we ask for protection from temptation, sin, and the evil one. Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and help us to walk in purity and holiness. If there has been any sin in past relationships, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Renew our minds and help us to walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have placed on our lives.

Father, we ask for strength to finish the tasks You have set before us, to set things in order as Titus 1:5 instructs, and to meet every pressing need. Empower us by Your Holy Spirit to abide in Your Word, to make disciples, and to run the race set before us with endurance. May we always pray, act, and live in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
