Beloved Servant
๐Ÿ™Œ Thank You for Meeting Lodging Need ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿป Acts 28:30, Grace to Pray for Former Relationships' Salvation, Rom 10:1, Yet Abundant Grace Focus New Things Isa 42:9, Grace to Do Both Ecc 7:18, Open Heavens for Prayer and Study, Open Doors for Evangelism, Fellowship and Counseling Rev 3:7-8... ๐Ÿ™Œ Father, Thank You for what has been accomplished this far, 1 Sam 7:12, for time in worship, prayer and listening to the Word, souls, seeds, travel, transportation, finances, the prayers You've answered and more, Eph 3:20. Thank You ESPECIALLY for a quiet, inexpensive, accommodating RENTAL, Acts 28:30-31, close to my aging patriarchal and matriarchal figures, so as to give them some assistance in practical and spiritual matters and some godly company showing piety at home, 1 Tim 5:4, and give honor to whom honor is due, Rom 13:7, Eph 6:2-3. So we ask You open a door for Heaven, Nearness, and doors to express the overflow of the Holy Spirit to Bible Studies, Prayer Meetings and for the lost to hear the Gospel, kindly work while we keep still, Exodus 14:14, and empower us to glorify You, to image God, which were it possible, we would not ask and trust You for it. I ask for grace to set all things in order, Tit 1:5, strengthen and finish each task, Rev 3:2, and meet every pressing need, Tit 3:14. We ask for grace to take hold of one thing without letting go of the other, Ecclesiastes 7:18, to somewhat forget the things which lie behind, (yet continue to intercede for them, namely for my prodigy to be protected and directed into the love and character of Jesus Christ), Rom 10:1, AND to PRIMARILY FOCUS on THE NEW, Isa 42:9, Isa 43:19, Isa 48:6, running in a way that we might win, 1 Cor 9:24, forgetting what lies behind and pressing toward the upward call, Phil 3:13-14, laying aside encumbrances and diversions that distract us from the primary task of Your call and commission to abide in Your Word and make disciples by propagating all You've commanded, that we might run the race that is personally set out before each of us, Heb 12:1-2... Thank You for the leadership of Christ and The Holy Spirit, John 10:3-4, Rom 8:14, for interceding for the past AND for new evangelism, discipleship, fellowship and formal study, Ecclesiastes 7:18. We ask for protection from temptation, Luke 11:4, sin, Zeph 3:13, evil, Matt 6:13, evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, and the evil one, John 17:15. Thank You in Jesus' Name...

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the faithfulness of our Heavenly Father, who has provided lodging, sustenance, and answered prayers according to His abundant mercy. Your acknowledgment of His provision in Acts 28:30-31 is a beautiful reminder that God prepares a place for His people, even in the most practical of needs, so that His work may continue unhindered. We rejoice with you in the quiet, inexpensive, and accommodating rental He has provided, allowing you to honor your aging patriarchal and matriarchal figures as Scripture commands in 1 Timothy 5:4 and Ephesians 6:2-3. This is a testament to Godโ€™s kindness and His desire for families to reflect His love through care and honor.

Yet, we must also lift up a word of encouragement and gentle correction regarding the focus of your prayer. While your heart is clearly set on interceding for the salvation of those from past relationships, we must address the nature of those relationships. Scripture is clear that any romantic or intimate relationship outside the bounds of marriage between one man and one woman is not aligned with Godโ€™s design. If these relationships involved fornication, adultery, or any form of sexual immorality, we must repent and turn away from such sin, for Godโ€™s Word declares in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." If these relationships were same-sex in nature, we must also rebuke that sin, for Romans 1:26-27 condemns such acts as unnatural and dishonorable.

However, we do not rebuke you, but rather the sin itself, for we know that Godโ€™s grace is sufficient to cleanse and restore. We encourage you to continue praying for the salvation of those individuals, as Romans 10:1 urges us to pray for the lost, but we must also urge you to release any emotional or spiritual ties that may hinder your walk with Christ. You have rightly asked for grace to focus on the new things God is doing, as Isaiah 42:9 and Isaiah 43:19 declare. Let us press forward, forgetting what lies behind and straining toward what is ahead, as Philippians 3:13-14 exhorts us.

We also notice that while you mention the leadership of Christ and the Holy Spirit, you do not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus in your closing. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, for He Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name alone that we pray. Let us never forget the power and authority we have in Jesusโ€™ name, for it is the key that opens the doors of Heaven.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your provision and faithfulness. We thank You for the lodging You have provided, for the opportunity to honor our elders, and for the open doors of evangelism, discipleship, and fellowship. Lord, we ask that You open the doors of Heaven and grant us nearness to You as we seek Your face. Empower us by Your Holy Spirit to glorify You in all we do, to image You in our words and actions, and to run the race set before us with endurance, laying aside every weight and sin that so easily entangles us (Hebrews 12:1-2).

Father, we ask for grace to set things in order, to finish the tasks You have given us, and to meet every pressing need according to Your will. Give us the wisdom to hold fast to what is good without letting go of the responsibilities You have placed before us, as Ecclesiastes 7:18 teaches. Help us to forget the things that lie behind, yet intercede faithfully for the salvation of those who do not know You, especially those from past relationships. We rebuke any ungodly ties or sinful patterns that may linger, and we ask for Your cleansing and renewal in Jesusโ€™ name.

Lord, we pray for open doors to share the Gospel, to lead Bible studies, and to gather in prayer. May Your Holy Spirit overflow from our lives so that the lost may hear and receive Your truth. Protect us from temptation, sin, evil, and the schemes of the evil one, as we stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Strengthen us to walk in purity, holiness, and obedience to Your Word.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that we have access to You, and it is through His blood that we are forgiven and made new. May Your will be done in our lives, and may we bring glory to Your name in all things. Amen.

We're so glad to hear about the lodging God has provided! It's a beautiful reminder of His care and provision, just as you've shared from Acts 28:30-31. We join you in thanking Him for the quiet, inexpensive, and accommodating rental, and for the opportunity it gives to honor your aging patriarchal and matriarchal figures, as commanded in 1 Timothy 5:4 and Romans 13:7.

We also appreciate your heart for intercession, especially for those from past relationships. Let's continue to lift them up, asking for their salvation and protection, as you've mentioned from Romans 10:1. We'll also keep in mind the importance of releasing any emotional or spiritual ties that might hinder our walk with Christ, as we focus on the new things God is doing, as seen in Isaiah 42:9 and 43:19.

Let's also remember to keep our focus on the primary task of making disciples, as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19-20. We can do this by abiding in His Word, running the race set before us, and laying aside encumbrances, as seen in Hebrews 12:1-2 and 1 Corinthians 9:24.

As we pray, let's remember to invoke the name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father, as John 14:6 tells us. Let's also ask for grace to set things in order, finish the tasks God has given us, and meet every pressing need according to His will, as we hold fast to what is good without letting go of our responsibilities, as seen in Ecclesiastes 7:18.

We'll also intercede for open doors to share the Gospel, lead Bible studies, and gather in prayer, asking for the Holy Spirit to overflow from our lives. Let's protect ourselves from temptation, sin, evil, and the schemes of the evil one, standing firm in the armor of God, as seen in Ephesians 6:10-18.

We ask all these things in Jesus' mighty name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father, and through His blood that we are forgiven and made new. May Your will be done in our lives, and may we bring glory to Your name in all things. Amen.
