🙌 Our Father in Heaven, Thank You for meeting all our needs up until present and continuing to do the same, surely Your Merciful Devotion to Your People is daily and Your Great Faithfulness an ever-present certainty amidst an ever changing life and world, Lam 3:23. Firstly, our prayer and private devotion and study even need those mercies, the ability to care for ourselves, our teaching and those You have in a way put under our care requires Your Spirit's inspiration, 1 Tim 4:16, Grace to Pray for Former and Present Relationships' Salvation and enrichment, Rom 10:1, Yet Abundant Grace Focus New Things Isa 42:9, even to be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God Your placed under our charge, Acts 20:28-31.

Thank You especially for the quiet, inexpensive, accommodating boarding, Acts 28:30-31, close to my aging patriarchal and matriarchal figures, and ask You give them assistance in practical and spiritual matters and allow me to further Your work in their lives along the same line, even with some godly company showing piety at home, 1 Tim 5:4, giving honor to whom honor is due, Rom 13:7, Eph 6:2-3.

🙏 We ask for grace to take hold of one thing without letting go of the other, Ecclesiastes 7:18, to continue to intercede for my distant matrimonial's full, authentic repentance to life and full trust in Christ and be regenerated, and the prodigy to be saved early, Rom 10:1, and protected and directed into the love and character of Jesus Christ, nourished on Your Word), 2 Tim 3:15, Yet ability to PRIMARILY FOCUS on THE NEW, Isa 42:9, Isa 43:19, Isa 48:6.

We lift this heartfelt request to the Lord with gratitude for His daily mercies and faithfulness, as Lamentations 3:23 so beautifully declares, "They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." It is clear that you are walking in a spirit of dependence on God, seeking His grace to balance the weight of past concerns with the call to press forward into new things. We join you in praying for this delicate yet necessary equilibrium, as Ecclesiastes 7:18 instructs, "It is good that you should take hold of this. Yes, also from that don’t withdraw your hand; for he who fears God will come out of them all."

First, we affirm the priority of salvation for those you intercede for, particularly the former matrimonial relationship and the prodigy. Romans 10:1 reminds us, "Brothers, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved." Salvation is the greatest gift, and regeneration through faith in Christ is the only path to true life. We pray fervently that the hearts of those you mention would be softened, that they would turn from any sin—including any unrepentant patterns of living—and fully surrender to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. May they be born again by the Spirit, washed clean by the blood of the Lamb, and nurtured in the truth of God’s Word, as 2 Timothy 3:15 encourages, "From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus."

Yet, we also hear your plea to shift your primary focus to the new things God is doing, as Isaiah 42:9 proclaims, "Behold, the former things have happened, and I declare new things. I tell you about them before they come up." This is a biblical and wise posture. While we must not neglect intercession for the lost or those in need of edification, we must also guard against being so consumed by the past that we miss the fresh work God is doing in and through us. The Lord calls us to forget what lies behind and press forward, as Philippians 3:13-14 exhorts, "Brothers, I don’t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do: forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

We pray for open doors for the Gospel, as Revelation 3:7-8 promises, "He who is holy, he who is true, he who has the key of David, he who opens and no one can shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says these things: ‘I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut.’" May the Lord grant you divine appointments, opportunities to share the love of Christ, and the boldness to speak truth in love. May your fellowship, Bible studies, and prayer meetings be filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit, drawing souls to repentance and discipleship.

We also lift up your aging patriarchal and matriarchal figures, asking God to grant them strength, wisdom, and spiritual vitality. May you be a blessing to them, honoring them as Scripture commands in Ephesians 6:2-3, "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with a promise: "that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth." May your home be a place of godly piety, where the Word of God is honored and the love of Christ is evident.

We must, however, address a matter of concern in your request. While you mention interceding for a "former matrimonial," we must gently but firmly remind you that marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to be a lifelong union between one man and one woman, as Genesis 2:24 declares, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." If this former relationship involved divorce, we urge you to examine your heart and the circumstances with great care, seeking God’s wisdom and counsel. Scripture is clear that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), though He offers grace and forgiveness to those who have experienced it. If there is unrepentance or ongoing sin in this area, we must pray for conviction, repentance, and healing, always pointing to the redemptive power of Christ.

Additionally, we encourage you to ensure that any future courtship or marriage is pursued with the utmost reverence for God’s design. Marriage is not merely a relationship but a holy institution, and it should only be entered into with another believer who shares your commitment to Christ. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?" May the Lord guide you to a godly spouse, if that is His will for you, and may your union bring glory to His name.

We also pray for protection over your heart and mind as you run this race. Hebrews 12:1-2 urges, "Let us therefore, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith." May you be guarded from temptation, sin, and the schemes of the evil one, as you abide in Christ and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your daily mercies and faithfulness, which sustain us and remind us of Your unfailing love. Lord, we lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would grant them the grace to balance the weight of intercession for the past with the call to embrace the new things You are doing. May they not grow weary in praying for the salvation of others, but may they also press forward with joy and expectation into the purposes You have prepared for them.

Father, we pray for the former matrimonial relationship and the prodigy mentioned. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. Convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and lead them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. May they be regenerated by Your Spirit, washed clean by the blood of the Lamb, and nurtured in Your Word. Protect them from the lies of the enemy and guide them into the truth of Your Gospel.

Lord, we ask for open doors for evangelism, fellowship, and discipleship. May Your Holy Spirit move powerfully in Bible studies, prayer meetings, and conversations, drawing souls to Christ and edifying the Body of believers. Grant this brother/sister boldness, wisdom, and compassion as they share Your love with others.

We also pray for the aging patriarchal and matriarchal figures in their life. Strengthen them, Lord, both physically and spiritually. May they experience Your presence in a fresh way, and may this brother/sister be a blessing to them, honoring them as You command.

Father, we ask for protection over their heart and mind. Guard them from temptation, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. Help them to lay aside every weight and distraction that hinders their race, and empower them to run with endurance, keeping their eyes fixed on Jesus.

Finally, Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment in all relationships, especially in matters of marriage. If it is Your will for them to marry, lead them to a godly spouse who loves You and seeks to honor You in all things. May their union be a reflection of Christ and the Church, bringing glory to Your name.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

We join you in praying for the grace to balance the weight of past concerns with the call to embrace new things. As it is written in Philippians 3:13-14, "Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." May you find the strength and wisdom to do both, interceding for the past while also pressing forward into the new things God is doing.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer, lifting up your heartfelt requests before our Heavenly Father. Your trust in sharing such personal and spiritual burdens has been a blessing to us all, and we continue to hold fast to the promises of God on your behalf.

As we reflect on the richness of your prayer—thanking the Lord for His daily mercies, faithfulness, and provision—we rejoice in the ways He has already moved in your life. His grace has sustained you in caring for yourself, your teaching, and those entrusted to your care. We are especially encouraged by your desire to focus on the new things God is doing while still honoring the past, seeking His grace to do both with wisdom and balance.

If the Lord has answered any of these prayers—whether in open doors for the Gospel, strength in your duties, or fresh anointing for the work ahead—we would love to hear your praise report so we may rejoice with you! If some requests remain unanswered or if new needs have arisen, we invite you to share them again so we may continue interceding alongside you.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you press forward in faith, trusting Him to complete the good work He has begun in you. May He grant you grace to run your race with endurance, to hold fast to His Word, and to walk in the power of His Spirit. We pray for protection over your heart, mind, and ministry, that you would be kept from temptation, sin, and every evil influence. May the Lord open doors no one can shut and fill your hands with His work, your heart with His peace, and your life with His presence.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and King. Amen.
