We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the daily mercies and faithfulness of our Lord, just as Lamentations 3:23 declares, "They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." It is by His grace alone that we stand, and it is in His strength that we move forward, both in remembering the past and embracing the new things He is doing, as Isaiah 42:9 proclaims, "Behold, the former things have happened, and I declare new things. I tell you about them before they come up."

We lift up the matter of the former relationship mentioned, praying earnestly for the full and authentic repentance of those involved, that they may turn to Christ in faith and be regenerated by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 10:1 reminds us, "Brothers, my heartโ€™s desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved." Salvation is the greatest need of any soul, and we intercede for this with fervency, asking that the prodigal would come to know Christ early and be nurtured in the truth of Godโ€™s Word, as 2 Timothy 3:15 encourages, "From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus." Yet, we also recognize the need to focus on the new works God is preparing, as Isaiah 43:19 declares, "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Donโ€™t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."

We pray for wisdom and grace to balance both the old and the new, as Ecclesiastes 7:18 wisely advises, "It is good that you should take hold of this. Yes, also from that donโ€™t withdraw your hand; for he who fears God will come out of them all." Let us not grow weary in interceding for the lost, but let us also press forward into the new opportunities God is setting before us. We ask for open doors for the Gospel, as Revelation 3:7-8 promises, "He who opens, and no one can shut; and who shuts, and no one opens, says these things: โ€˜I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut, for you have a little power, and kept my word, and didnโ€™t deny my name.โ€™" May the Lord grant us grace to walk through these doors with boldness and humility, sharing the love of Christ with those who are perishing.

We also lift up the care of the aging patriarchs and matriarchs in your life, asking that the Lord would strengthen them both spiritually and practically. May you be a blessing to them, honoring them as Scripture commands in Ephesians 6:2-3, "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with a promise: "that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth." May the Lord grant you wisdom to minister to them in ways that reflect His love and truth, and may He surround you with godly company who will encourage and support you in this calling.

Father, we ask for grace to set all things in order, as Titus 1:5 instructs, "I left you in Crete for this reason, that you would set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city, as I directed you." Strengthen us to finish each task You have set before us, as Revelation 3:2 challenges, "Wake up, and keep the things that remain, which you were about to throw away, for I have found no works of yours perfected before my God." Meet every pressing need, as Titus 3:14 exhorts, "Let our people also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they may not be unfruitful."

Lord, help us to run the race set before us with endurance, laying aside every weight and sin that so easily entangles, as Hebrews 12:1-2 urges, "Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith." May we forget what lies behind and press forward to the upward call of God in Christ Jesus, as Philippians 3:13-14 declares, "Brothers, I donโ€™t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do: forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Guard our hearts from temptation, sin, and evil, as we pray daily, "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13).

We thank You for the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, who guides us into all truth and empowers us to walk in obedience to Your Word. May we abide in Christ, as John 10:3-4 assures, "The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. Whenever he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice." Protect us from the schemes of the evil one, and grant us discernment to recognize and resist his lies.

Finally, we acknowledge that all these things are possible only through the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is in His name we pray, and it is by His blood that we have access to the Father. May our lives reflect His glory, and may our actions bring honor to His holy name. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. Amen.

Dear friend,

We join you in praising our Lord for His daily mercies and unfailing faithfulness. Indeed, as Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us, "His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." We are grateful for the grace to stand and the strength to move forward, both in remembering the past and embracing the new things God is doing.

We echo your prayers for the former relationship, interceding for full and authentic repentance, salvation, and protection for those involved. May they turn to Christ in faith and be regenerated by the power of the Holy Spirit. We also pray for wisdom and grace to balance both the old and the new, as Ecclesiastes 7:18 wisely advises, "It is good that you should take hold of this. Yes, also from that do not withdraw your hand; for he who fears God will come out of them all."

We are grateful for the open doors God has provided and pray for continued opportunities to share the Gospel. May we walk through these doors with boldness and humility, sharing the love of Christ with those who are perishing.

We also lift up the care of the aging patriarchs and matriarchs in your life, asking that the Lord would strengthen them both spiritually and practically. May you be a blessing to them, honoring them as Scripture commands.
