So thank You for what has been accomplished this far, 1 Sam 7:12, for time in worship, prayer and listening to the Word, souls, seeds, travel, transportation, finances, lodging and all the prayers You've answered and more, Eph 3:20. Thank You especially for the quiet, inexpensive, accommodating boarding, Acts 28:30-31, close to my aging patriarchal and matriarchal figures, and ask You give them assistance in practical and spiritual matters and allow me to further Your work in their lives along the same line, even with some godly company showing piety at home, 1 Tim 5:4, giving honor to whom honor is due, Rom 13:7, Eph 6:2-3.

🙏 We ask for grace to take hold of one thing without letting go of the other, Ecclesiastes 7:18, to continue to intercede for my distant matrimonial's full, authentic repentance to life and full trust in Christ and be regenerated, and the prodigy to be saved early, Rom 10:1, and protected and directed into the love and character of Jesus Christ, nourished on Your Word), 2 Tim 3:15, Yet ability to PRIMARILY FOCUS on THE NEW, Isa 42:9, Isa 43:19, Isa 48:6.

I ask for grace to set all things in order, Tit 1:5, strengthen and finish each task, Rev 3:2, and meet every pressing need, Tit 3:14.

🙏 Help our running to be in a way that we might win, 1 Cor 9:24, forgetting what lies behind and pressing toward the upward call, Phil 3:13-14, laying aside encumbrances and diversions that distract us from the primary task of Your call and commission to abide in Your Word and make disciples by propagating all You've commanded, that we might run the race that is personally set out before each of us, Heb 12:1-2... Thank You for the Your love and leadership, the fellowship of abiding in Christ and guidance of The Holy Spirit, John 10:3-4, Rom 8:14, grace to intercede for the past AND for new evangelism, encouragement, discipleship, fellowship with The Body and Bride of Christ, and formal study, Ecclesiastes 7:18. We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the daily mercies and faithfulness of our Heavenly Father, just as Lamentations 3:23 declares, "They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Your Word reminds us that Your compassions never fail, and we stand in awe of Your unchanging nature amidst the shifting tides of life. We lift up this prayer with reverence, acknowledging that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

We rejoice in the truth that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, and we thank You for the ways You have already moved in this situation—providing lodging, meeting practical needs, and drawing near to aging loved ones. We ask that You continue to grant grace to honor father and mother, as Ephesians 6:2-3 commands, and to minister to them both spiritually and practically. May their hearts be softened to receive Your Word, and may You raise up godly company to encourage them in piety at home, as 1 Timothy 5:4 instructs.

We recognize the tension in this prayer between holding onto past concerns while embracing the new things You are doing, as Isaiah 42:9 and 43:19 promise. Father, we ask for wisdom to navigate this balance, as Ecclesiastes 7:18 warns against extremes: "It is good that you should take hold of this. Yes, also from that don’t withdraw your hand; for he who fears God will come out of them all." We specifically lift up the request for the salvation of those from a past matrimonial relationship. While we intercede for their repentance and regeneration (Romans 10:1), we also ask for grace to release them into Your hands, trusting that Your plans for them are good. We rebuke any spirit of bitterness or unforgiveness that may linger, for we are called to "let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice" (Ephesians 4:31). If there was any sin in that past relationship—whether fornication, adultery, or ungodly union—we repent on behalf of all involved and ask for Your cleansing and restoration.

Father, we pray for the prodigy mentioned in this request. May they come to salvation early, as 2 Timothy 3:15 describes, and be nourished on Your Word. Protect them from the snares of the enemy and guide them into the love and character of Christ. Yet we also ask for grace to shift our primary focus to the new works You are doing, as Isaiah 48:6 declares, "You have heard; see all this! Won’t you declare it? I have shown you new things from this time, even hidden things, which you have not known." Open doors for evangelism, fellowship, and counseling, as Revelation 3:7-8 promises, and empower us to walk through them with boldness.

We ask for strength to set things in order (Titus 1:5), finish tasks (Revelation 3:2), and meet every pressing need (Titus 3:14). Help us to run the race set before us with endurance, laying aside every weight and sin that so easily entangles (Hebrews 12:1-2). We pray for protection from temptation (Luke 11:4), sin (Zephaniah 3:13), evil (Matthew 6:13), and the schemes of the evil one (John 17:15). Guard our hearts from distractions that pull us away from the Great Commission to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20).

Finally, we surrender this request to You, trusting that You will accomplish far more than we could ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). May our lives reflect the image of Christ, and may our running be in such a way that we might win the prize (1 Corinthians 9:24). We press on toward the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13-14), forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead. In all things, may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this prayer to our Heavenly Father, thanking Him for His unfailing mercy and faithfulness that is new every morning. We are reminded of His love, as a father who meets all our needs, and we thank Him for the provision and lodging He has already given.

We ask for grace to honor our parents, as Ephesians 6:2-3 instructs, and to minister to them both spiritually and practically. May their hearts be softened to receive His Word, and may godly company encourage them in piety at home, as 1 Timothy 5:4 suggests.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer, lifting up your heartfelt requests before our Heavenly Father. It has been a blessing to intercede on your behalf, asking for His daily mercies, faithfulness, and grace as you navigate both the responsibilities of caring for those entrusted to you and the call to embrace new opportunities He has set before you.

We rejoice in the truth that God’s mercies are new every morning, and His faithfulness is steadfast, just as Lamentations 3:23 declares. We have prayed alongside you for salvation, growth, and protection for your loved ones—both those from the past and those God is bringing into new seasons of ministry and fellowship. It has been our joy to ask the Lord for wisdom and strength as you balance the duties of shepherding His flock while stepping into the new things He is doing, trusting in His promise from Isaiah 42:9 to do what He has spoken.

If the Lord has answered any of these prayers—whether through open doors for the Gospel, provision in your circumstances, or a fresh outpouring of His Spirit—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony of God’s faithfulness would strengthen all of us as we continue to seek Him together.

If, however, some of these requests remain unanswered or the journey feels uncertain, we want you to know we are still here to stand with you. Please feel free to post this as a new request, and we will continue to lift you up, asking the Lord to grant you grace to hold fast to what is behind while pressing forward into what lies ahead. May He give you the strength to run the race set before you, fixing your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith.

We pray that as you seek Him, the Lord would open doors no one can shut, pour out His wisdom for the tasks before you, and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. May He bless you abundantly, meet every need according to His riches in glory, and use you powerfully for His kingdom. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
