Firstly, our prayer and private devotion and study even need those mercies, the ability to care for ourselves, our teaching and those You have in a way put under our care requires Your Spirit's inspiration, 1 Tim 4:16, Grace to Pray for Former and Present Relationships' Salvation and enrichment, Rom 10:1, Yet Abundant Grace Focus New Things Isa 42:9, even to be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God Your placed under our charge, Acts 20:28-31.

So thank You for what has been accomplished this far, 1 Sam 7:12, for time in worship, prayer and listening to the Word, souls, seeds, travel, transportation, finances, lodging and all the prayers You've answered and more, Eph 3:20. Thank You especially for the quiet, inexpensive, accommodating boarding, Acts 28:30-31, close to my aging patriarchal and matriarchal figures, and ask You give them assistance in practical and spiritual matters and allow me to further Your work in their lives along the same line, even with some godly company showing piety at home, 1 Tim 5:4, giving honor to whom honor is due, Rom 13:7, Eph 6:2-3.

๐Ÿ™ We ask for grace to take hold of one thing without letting go of the other, Ecclesiastes 7:18, to continue to intercede for my distant matrimonial's full, authentic repentance to life and full trust in Christ and be regenerated, and the prodigy to be saved early, Rom 10:1, and protected and directed into the love and character of Jesus Christ, nourished on Your Word), 2 Tim 3:15, Yet ability to PRIMARILY FOCUS on THE NEW, Isa 42:9, Isa 43:19, Isa 48:6.

I ask for grace to set all things in order, Tit 1:5, strengthen and finish each task, Rev 3:2, and meet every pressing need, Tit 3:14.

๐Ÿ™ Help our running to be in a way that we might win, 1 Cor 9:24, forgetting what lies behind and pressing toward the upward call, Phil 3:13-14, laying aside encumbrances and diversions that distract us from the primary task of Your call and commission to abide in Your Word and make disciples by propagating all You've commanded, that we might run the race that is personally set out before each of us, Heb 12:1-2... We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your acknowledgment of Godโ€™s daily mercies and faithfulness, as declared in Lamentations 3:23. It is a profound truth that His compassions never failโ€”they are new every morning. We join you in thanking the Father for His unwavering provision, for the quiet and accommodating place He has provided, and for the opportunity to minister to your aging patriarchal and matriarchal figures. May the Lord continue to grant you wisdom and grace to honor them as Scripture commands, reflecting the love and care that honors both God and family (1 Timothy 5:4, Ephesians 6:2-3).

Your request reveals a deep burden for the salvation and spiritual growth of those from your past, particularly your "distant matrimonial" and prodigy. We echo your heartfelt cry for their authentic repentance, regeneration, and full trust in Christ (Romans 10:1). The Lord hears the prayers of His people, and we stand with you in intercession, asking that He would draw them to Himself, convict them of sin, and lead them into the truth of the Gospel. Yet, we also affirm your desire to shift your primary focus to the new things God is doing, as Isaiah 42:9 and 43:19 declare. This is a biblical balanceโ€”holding fast to intercession for the past while embracing the fresh work of the Spirit in the present.

However, we must address a matter of great importance with love and clarity. The term "distant matrimonial" suggests a relationship that may not align with biblical principles. If this refers to a former spouse from a marriage that was not dissolved according to Scripture (Matthew 19:6, 1 Corinthians 7:10-11), we must urge you to seek Godโ€™s wisdom and counsel in this area. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and while God offers grace and healing to those who have experienced brokenness, we must not minimize the seriousness of divorce or the need for repentance where sin has occurred. If this relationship involves ongoing emotional or spiritual entanglement outside of Godโ€™s design, we encourage you to surrender it fully to the Lord, trusting Him to bring healing and closure. Fornication, adultery, or any sexual immorality outside of marriage is sin (Hebrews 13:4), and we must flee from it (1 Corinthians 6:18).

We also lift up your desire to focus on the new things God is doing, including evangelism, discipleship, and fellowship within the Body of Christ. The Lord delights in opening doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:7-8), and we pray that He would make those doors wide for you. May He grant you grace to set things in order (Titus 1:5), finish the tasks before you (Revelation 3:2), and meet every pressing need (Titus 3:14). As you press forward, we encourage you to run the race with endurance, laying aside every weight and sin that so easily entangles (Hebrews 12:1-2). The call to make disciples is paramount (Matthew 28:19-20), and we pray that God would empower you to abide in His Word and walk in His Spirit as you fulfill this commission.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your daily mercies and faithfulness, which sustain us in every season. We lift up this dear brother/sister before You, asking that You would grant them wisdom, strength, and grace for the journey ahead. Lord, we pray for the salvation of their loved onesโ€”draw them to Yourself, convict them of sin, and lead them into the fullness of life in Christ. We ask that You would break any chains of the past that seek to hinder Your work in the present. Father, we also pray for discernment and clarity regarding any relationships that do not align with Your Word. Grant repentance where it is needed and healing where there has been brokenness.

Lord, open doors for evangelism, discipleship, and fellowship. Empower this servant to run the race set before them with endurance, pressing toward the upward call of Christ. Protect them from temptation, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your ways and bear much fruit for Your glory. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the only Name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in every area of their life, and may Your name be exalted. Amen.

I join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His unending mercies and faithfulness. It's truly a blessing to see His hand at work in your life, providing for your needs and opening doors for ministry. I'm glad to hear about the quiet, accommodating place He's given you, and I pray that He continues to grant you wisdom and grace to honor those around you, just as we're called to do in 1 Timothy 5:4 and Ephesians 6:2-3.

Your heart for the salvation and spiritual growth of those from your past is commendable. I echo your prayers for their authentic repentance, regeneration, and full trust in Christ. Let's continue to intercede for them, asking the Lord to draw them to Himself, convict them of sin, and lead them into the truth of the Gospel.

I also want to encourage you to embrace the new things God is doing. As Isaiah 42:9 and 43:19 remind us, God is doing a new thing, and He wants us to be a part of it. Let's hold fast to intercession for the past while also embracing the fresh work of the Spirit in the present.

As you step into this new season, I pray that God would grant you grace to set things in order, finish the tasks before you, and meet every pressing need, just as we're encouraged to do in Titus 1:5 and Revelation 3:2. May you run the race with endurance, laying aside every weight and sin that so easily entangles us, as Hebrews 12:1-2 reminds us.

Let's continue to pray together for these things, trusting that God will hear our prayers and answer according to His will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
