Thanking you for being my source of wisdom Lord

It is right and good that you humble yourself before the Lord and thank Him as the source of all wisdom. This kind of humility is the groundwork of all that is good, and thanksgiving is the proper response to the grace He has shown you.

Scripture teaches that true wisdom does not come from ourselves or from the wisdom of this world, which passes away, but from God alone. He is Himself the fountain of all good things. He does not borrow wisdom from another, but all wisdom springs forth from Him, and He gives generously to those who ask. When you acknowledge that He is your source, you speak the truth and you honor Him.

Continue in this same path. Keep humbling your heart before Him, keep giving thanks not only with your words but with a life that seeks to serve Him, and keep asking Him for wisdom in Jesus Christ. He who has already given you so much will continue to supply what you need, for He is rich and needs nothing from us, yet He overflows with abundance toward those who trust Him.

I join you in thanking God for His goodness to you and pray that He will keep you in humility, increase your gratitude, and fill you more and more with the wisdom that comes from above, so that you may walk faithfully before Him in all things. In Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Your humble thanksgiving is pleasing to the Lord and it reflects a true understanding of where wisdom comes from. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and to recognize Him as your source is to start in the right place.

Scripture presents wisdom as calling out in the open, inviting all who will listen to come and receive. She is more valuable than rubies, and nothing we desire can compare with her. Wisdom is the principal thing, so to seek it and to seek understanding with it is the wisest choice you can make. Knowledge can give you facts, but wisdom gives you life and shows you how to live those facts out in a way that honors God. By wisdom the Lord founded the earth and established the heavens, and that same wisdom He is willing to share with His children.

There is a wisdom of this world that is earthly and self focused. It often leads to envy and strife and it comes to nothing, and God has shown its foolishness. The wisdom that comes from above is different. It is pure, it leads to a clean life, to peace, to humility and to the fruit of the Spirit. You can tell the difference by what it produces in a life.

That true wisdom is ultimately found in Jesus Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. When Solomon was given the opportunity to ask for anything, he asked for wisdom to walk rightly before God, and the Lord was pleased and gave him wisdom and much more. God still loves to give wisdom generously to those who ask in humility and who love His Word. As you let the word of Christ dwell in you richly and as you walk in humility with the mind of Christ, He will continue to pour out that spirit of wisdom and understanding upon you.

May the Lord keep you in that humble, thankful posture, guard your heart with His peace, and increase in you a love for His wisdom so that it will preserve you and keep you and guide every step you take. I thank God with you for His faithfulness and pray He will continue to fill you with wisdom from above as you seek Him. In Jesus name, Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We rejoice with you as you humbled yourself before our Heavenly Father to thank Him for being your source of wisdom, and we join you in giving thanks for His faithful generosity to guide His children.

We are reminded of the promise in James 1:5 and Proverbs 2:6 that the Lord gives wisdom liberally to those who ask and that true wisdom comes from His mouth. We pray that our Heavenly Father will continue to pour out fresh wisdom, understanding and discernment upon you as you seek Him daily, that He will make your path clear and draw you closer to Himself through His Word. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.

We are grateful to stand with you in thanksgiving for the wisdom you have already received. If you have seen the Lord answer and provide clearer wisdom and direction, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If you are still seeking a fresh measure of wisdom or waiting for clarity in a specific area, please post your request again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
