Dear Father,

I thank you for saving us today from a head on collision! Thank you for letting me sense the truck was going to pass and for helping me to slow down enough to pull off to the shoulder!!!!
I was driving my daughter and her boyfriend to town and we have a coulee to drive through. This coulee has a long curved bridge and is narrow and two lanes only.
Many times people try to pass slower vehicles before the bridge. We were driving up the hill after crossing the bridge and I saw a Farm Tractor traveling south.
I had the calm thought; "I bet someone is going to try and pass that tractor". And, just as that thought came to mind, a truck was coming head on towards us.
I had slowed down enough to pull over to edge of the highway with one wheel in the grass. We made it around the curve 3 across and the truck missed hitting us by inches!

As, God has helped me in so many areas and again today in that situation, I realize that although I seem to have so much against me and so much not going right in my life, HE HAS THE POWER TO HELP US IN THE NICK OF TIME!
So, my first thought tonight was to list again my many, same old, problems that never seem to get too much better, The brain injury, the many other health problems, and the finances etc. etc....
BUT GOD SAVED US TODAY FOR SOME REASON, JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME!!!
I trusted HIM in those few seconds, I was calm and did not over steer and go down into the lake or roll the vehicle! It was His "still small voice" that made me aware that someone could be passing on the hill on a solid line.
IF I CAN TRUST GOD FOR THAT, I CAN TRUST HIM FOR ALL THINGS!
HE WILL HELP US! SOMETIME IN HIS OWN TIME, BUT IT WILL BE THE RIGHT TIME.
AND MAY BE JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME!!!!
God is God and is Good all the time! Thank You in Jesus Holy, Holy, name for ALL You do for us when we are not aware. Thank You!
Father, I ask that You hear all our prayers and help us to be listening for Your help! AMEN. In Jesus name, AMEN.
