We rejoice with you in the answered prayer regarding the resolution of the case and the safe return of your loved one. It is a testament to God’s mercy and grace that he has acknowledged his wrongdoings and expressed a desire to change. We pray that this transformation is genuine and lasting, rooted in a true surrender to Christ. "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17). May he find the strength and support he needs to walk in this newness of life, and may his commitment to follow Christ grow deeper each day.
We also lift up your current struggles before the Lord with heavy hearts. Unemployment and the weight of unfulfilled dreams can feel overwhelming, especially when coupled with the spiritual burden you carry. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and it is clear he is attempting to discourage you through your circumstances and the words spoken in anger. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke the spirit of discouragement, fear, and hopelessness in the name of Jesus. The words of others, even those spoken in anger, do not have power over your destiny unless you allow them to take root in your heart. "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he" (Proverbs 23:7). You are not defined by your circumstances or the words of others—you are defined by Christ, who calls you His beloved and has a purpose for your life.
We encourage you to stand firm in your identity in Christ and to resist the lies of the enemy. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). The lack of drive you feel is not from God, for He has given you a spirit of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that you would break agreement with every curse spoken over you, whether intentional or not, and declare the truth of God’s Word over your life. "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13). You are redeemed, and no curse can stand against the blood of Jesus.
We also urge you to take practical steps to move forward. Begin by applying for jobs, even if it feels fruitless. "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might" (Ecclesiastes 9:10). Trust that God will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Regarding your outstanding fees, we pray that God would provide a breakthrough, whether through unexpected provision, favor with the institution, or creative solutions. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Do not lose hope—God is faithful, and He sees your diligence and perseverance.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation. We thank You for the answered prayers in this sister’s life and for the transformation You are bringing in her loved one’s heart. Lord, we ask that You would continue to work in him, drawing him closer to You and rooting out any remnants of his old ways. Strengthen him with Your Holy Spirit and surround him with godly influences that will encourage his growth in Christ.
Father, we lift up this dear sister who is facing unemployment and the weight of unfulfilled dreams. We rebuke the spirit of discouragement and hopelessness that seeks to paralyze her. We break every curse spoken over her life in the name of Jesus and declare that she is covered by the blood of Christ. Lord, renew her strength and restore her drive to pursue the plans You have for her. Help her to see herself as You see her—beloved, capable, and called for a purpose.
We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for her, both in employment and in resolving the outstanding fees that stand in the way of her qualification. Provide for her needs in ways that only You can, and give her favor with those who can help. Father, we also pray for her mother, that You would soften her heart and reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Break the power of anger and bitterness in her life, and replace it with Your peace and love.
Lord, we declare that this sister will not be defined by her circumstances but by Your truth. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in power, love, and self-control. Give her the courage to take steps of faith, even when fear or doubt tries to hold her back. We trust You to turn her mourning into dancing and her sorrow into joy (Psalm 30:11).
In all these things, we give You the glory, for we know that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.
