Servant
Lord I want to thank you for another day another opertunity lord to come before you and say thank you for the many blessings you have given me and the many prayers you have answered for me. I thank you for another day of waking up and being able to go to church this morning and to be able to go again this evening. I thank you for that. Lord I prayed yesterday for someone I care so deeply about. She was in alot of pain. She is better now shes fine. Lord I have learned that alot of the things we worry about really isn't worth worrying about because you have it all undercontroll and it is all in your hands and you have it taken care of. Lord sometimes I can't help but worry. I guess it is my human nature. Please forgive me for that because I know it is wrong to worry. I thank you lord so much for healing this girl I care so much about and I pray if it be your will that you have something for me and her in the future. I pray something works out and me her can be together if it be your will. Your will be done in this. In Jesus name amen.

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for another day of life and mercy and for every good gift He has given. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights James 1:17 and This is the day that Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it Psalm 118:24. We rejoice with you that you were able to gather with the church this morning and again this evening, for we are reminded not to forsake our own assembling together Hebrews 10:25, and we thank God that He has answered prayer for this young woman you care so deeply about and has brought her healing. He heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and we give Him all the glory for her recovery.

We also hear your honest confession about worry and we want to encourage you with the Word. It is our human tendency to worry, but our Father gently calls us to trust Him instead. We are told in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And again, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Your desire to bring even your worries to Him and ask forgiveness is pleasing to Him, for He is gracious and knows our frame. We encourage you to continue to replace worry with thanksgiving and prayer, remembering that God indeed has all things under control and works all things together for good for those who love Him Romans 8:28.

Concerning this young woman you care for, we join you in praying, Your will be done, and we want to encourage you in a biblical direction. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman and we strongly endorse marriage as God designed it. If you are pursuing a relationship with her, we encourage you to see this as courtship with the goal of discerning marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, for we are told Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. We pray that you both will seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness Matthew 6:33 and that your relationship would be kept pure and honoring to God, abstaining from sexual intimacy outside of marriage, for God calls us to flee sexual immorality and to keep the marriage bed holy 1 Corinthians 6:18, Hebrews 13:4. If it be His will for you to be together, may it be as husband and wife in a Christ centered marriage that glorifies Him.

We are thankful that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We pray together with you now. Father in heaven, we thank You for Your mercies that are new every morning and for answering prayer for this young woman and bringing healing to her body. We thank You for this brother’s thankful heart and for his desire to honor You in church and in his daily life. Lord, forgive us when we worry and help us to cast all our cares upon You and to rest in Your perfect peace. Lead and guide this young man and this young woman. If they are both believers who love You, make Your will clear for their future. If it is Your will for them to be together, lead them in a pure and holy courtship toward a godly marriage that honors You. If not, give grace to accept Your perfect will and to follow You faithfully. Keep them both from temptation and help them to grow in holiness and in the knowledge of Your Son. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We were really glad to read your words of thanks. It is encouraging to hear how you woke up with gratitude, got to be in church morning and evening, and saw God answer prayer for this young woman you care about. We rejoice with you that she is feeling better.

What you shared about worry stood out to us. You said you know God has things under control and in His hands, and yet you still find yourself worrying and needing His forgiveness for it. That honesty is something many of us understand. Worry does not mean you lack faith, it often just shows you care deeply and are still learning to rest more fully in the Lord who already cares for you and for her. Gratitude like you expressed is one way that rest grows, it quiets our hearts as we remember what God has already done.

As you keep praying about the future and whether the Lord may have something ahead for you and her, we encourage you to keep that same simple pattern you are already living, bringing both thanks and requests to Him day by day, staying rooted in your church family, and seeking wise counsel from a pastor or trusted mature believer as that friendship develops. Your desire to say Your will be done is a good and humble place to stay.

Father, we thank You for this brother and for the thankful heart You have given him. Thank You for the gift of another day, for his church, and for Your mercy in healing this young woman. Give him peace when worry rises, wisdom for each step ahead, and help him to keep trusting Your good will for his life and hers. In Jesus' name, amen.

Gratitude is a fragrant offering before the Lord, and it is good to hear your heart thus lifted up in thanksgiving for another day, for daily mercies, and for the privilege of going up to the house of God morning and evening. Every breath and every answered prayer is from His hand, and it is comely that you should acknowledge that all is under His control and in His keeping.

You confess that you are prone to worry, and you ask forgiveness for it. Know then that the Lord is very pitiful to His children in this matter. The Psalmist said, What time I am afraid, I will trust in You. There is a time when fear will lay hold upon us, for we are but flesh, yet faith turns that fear into an occasion for trust. You have begun well to say, I will trust, and may the Lord bring you by His grace to the fuller song, I will trust and not be afraid. Try as you may, you cannot alter God's providential arrangements, but you may be altered to suit His providence and be resigned to His will. To do the right thing and then to leave the result with God, this is wisdom. Be not hasty or feverish in spirit, but wait till your soul is cool before the Lord, and you will see your way more clearly.

You thank God for healing one whom you care for, and you pray concerning your hopes for the future with her, adding with a right spirit, if it be Your will, Your will be done. This is as it should be. As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, so in grace we rest assured that He is King, having mercy on whom He will have mercy, and ordering all things after the counsel of His own heart. It is foolish for any man to say, We will do this or that, and to propose and dispose without asking God's consent. All things are under regulation and have an appointed place in His plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. Therefore we do well not only to say with our lips, if the Lord will, but to feel it in our hearts.

Concerning your affection, take heed to honor the revealed will of God, which we must not violate. His way is plain, that marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that the intimacies which belong to marriage are to be kept within that covenant alone. Any path toward being together must therefore be a path of purity, of prayer, and of seeking first to do the will of God. Do not seek merely to have your own desires fulfilled, but seek to be found walking uprightly, and then no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. If this affection is to proceed, let it proceed in the Lord, with clean hands and a pure heart, under the counsel of His Word and of His church, and with salvation and holiness sought through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we must be saved, and no confidence before God except in the blood of Christ.

I will pray with you and for you. That the Lord would keep you in thankfulness, forgive your anxieties and teach you to cast them upon Him who cares for you, that He would continue His mercies to the one for whom you have prayed, and that He would guide you both according to His perfect wisdom. If it be His will to bring you together, may it be in holiness and to His glory, as a union that honors Christ and keeps His commandments. And if it be not His will, may He give you grace to bow to His sovereign hand and to find your contentment and your gain in doing His will. May you rest not in what you do, but in what your Lord has done, and know that you have passed from death unto life as you trust in Him alone.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
