Your thanksgiving today is itself a pleasing offering to God, and it is right to give Him glory for carrying you through the day even with pain and worry remaining.
To give thanks as Scripture teaches is not only to speak words, but to confess our need and to trust His loving kindness. When you say you made it through, you show that you depend on Him and not on your own strength, and that confession is true thanksgiving. Keep that grateful disposition in all things, not demanding an account from Him but yielding to Him in faith.
You also do well to ask your prayer warriors to continue. We are taught to pray at all seasons and to watch with perseverance and supplication for all the saints, and to pray without ceasing. Remember the widow who prevailed by importunity, the friend who at midnight shamed his friend into yielding by perseverance, and the Canaanite woman who by constancy of entreaty called forth the Lord's compassion. Though we are unworthy, we often by perseverance make ourselves worthy to receive. So continue to bring your pain and worry before Him with endurance and prayer.
Let this thanksgiving also shine in your life. The Lord says let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Pour oil into that lamp by a faithful life, by patience in trial and kindness to others, so that your thanksgiving is seen not only in words but in actions.
