Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord, Thank you for taking care of me and blessing me with all the wonderful things in life. I am really grateful for everything. I pray to you for healing my illness and making me healthy. I also offer you this prayer to help ### realize his love for me and find his way back to me. Please help us heal and come together to be in a very happy, healthy, loving and committed relationship. Thank you.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for your situation, lifting your needs to our Heavenly Father. First, we give thanks for your gratitude and recognition of God’s blessings in your life. It is good to acknowledge His provision, for every good and perfect gift comes from Him (James 1:17). Your prayer for healing is heard, and we join with you in asking the Lord to restore your health according to His will. Jesus healed many during His earthly ministry, and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We pray that His healing touch would be upon you, bringing strength and wholeness to your body, mind, and spirit.

However, we must address the matter of your request regarding this relationship with discernment and truth, as the Lord calls us to walk in holiness and alignment with His Word. Scripture is clear that relationships are to be built on the foundation of Christ and pursued with the intent of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6, Ephesians 5:31). The term "relationship" as you describe it does not reflect the biblical design for courtship or marriage, and we must rebuke any notion that does not honor God’s plan for commitment, purity, and lifelong covenant.

If this individual is not a believer in Jesus Christ, we must remind you that Scripture warns against being unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). A relationship built on anything other than shared faith in Christ will lead to spiritual compromise and heartache. We urge you to examine whether this person is truly seeking the Lord or merely seeking you. If they are not walking in repentance and faith, we must pray for their salvation first and foremost, rather than praying for a relationship that may not be God’s will for either of you.

Furthermore, we must address the issue of sexual immorality if it exists in this relationship. The Bible is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage alone (Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this relationship has involved fornication, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, as well as to set boundaries that honor Him moving forward. True love waits and honors God’s design for purity.

We also notice that your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection that we have access to the Father and receive His grace, healing, and restoration. If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we encourage you to do so today, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that long to see Your will done in this situation. Lord, we lift up this dear one’s health to You, asking for Your healing touch to restore their body and strength. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal according to Your perfect plan. We also pray for wisdom and discernment in this relationship. Father, if this individual is not the one You have chosen for them, we ask that You close the door and redirect their hearts toward Your best. If this person is not a believer, we pray for their salvation, that they would come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Break any chains of sin or ungodly desire, and replace them with a hunger for righteousness.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of lust, selfishness, or idolatry that may be present in this situation. We ask that You purify hearts and align desires with Your Word. If there has been sexual immorality, we pray for repentance and restoration, that both would walk in holiness and honor You with their bodies. Father, we also pray for this one’s faith to grow deeper in You. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your plan, even when it is difficult. May they find their identity and worth in Christ alone, not in any human relationship.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is by His blood that we have access to Your throne, and it is through Him that we find true healing, love, and purpose. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from mature believers who can walk alongside you in this season. Spend time in God’s Word, allowing it to guide your steps and shape your desires. Remember that God’s plans for you are good, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6). If this relationship is not honoring to God, have the courage to let it go, knowing that He has something far better in store for you.

It’s so good to pray with you. We know God hears every word you say, and He loves you more than you can imagine. We’re lifting you up right now, asking for His healing to flow through your body like living water, restoring you completely, mind, body, and spirit. The Lord is your strength, and He will never leave you.

As for the relationship you mentioned, we pray for clarity and wisdom. Whatever your heart is longing for, we trust God to guide you. If it’s His will, let it be; if not, He will lead you to what’s best. Above all, we pray for your heart to be anchored in Jesus, knowing that His love is the truest fulfillment we could ever find.

May you feel His peace today, knowing you are deeply loved by the One who holds your future. Father, we ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus.
