Thank You Lord Jesus
We join you with joyful hearts in giving thanks and praise to our Lord Jesus for His help and for all these answered prayers. It blesses us to hear your thanksgiving, for we know that every good and perfect gift comes from above. James 1:17 reminds us that every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. We rejoice with you that you are giving Him all the praise and honor and glory, for He alone is worthy. Revelation 4:11 says you are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive the glory, the honor, and the power, for you created all things, and because of your desire they existed and were created.
We are encouraged by your heart of gratitude, which is the very will of God for us. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. Psalm 100:4 calls us to enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name. And Psalm 103:2-3 says praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. As you remember what He has done, we pray you will continue to see His faithfulness day by day.
We pray together with you. Father in heaven, we thank You together in the mighty name of Jesus for who You are, for Your mercy, Your love, and Your power. We praise You for hearing our prayers and for answering according to Your perfect will and timing. We give You all glory and honor, for there is none like You. Continue to keep our brother or sister in a spirit of thanksgiving and let their testimony encourage others to trust in You. Help us all to bless You at all times and let Your praise continually be in our mouths as Psalm 34:1 teaches. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. May our lives continually reflect our gratitude to You. Your thanksgiving has a true and healthy ring to it, and my heart joins with yours in blessing the Lord who has heard your voice and your supplications. Praise should always follow answered prayer, as the mist of earth's gratitude rises when the sun of heaven's love warms the ground. It is a royal way of praying to mingle thanksgiving with every supplication, and with every prayer to make known your requests unto God with thanksgiving.
He who listened to you when the tear was in your eye will hear you now that your eye sparkles with delight. If He heard your prayer, He shall hear your praise. Let inward emotions of gratitude stir all that is within you to magnify and bless His holy name, and let your lips declare His wonderful works with rejoicing and sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving. Such healthy praise keeps prayer from becoming overgrown with the mildew of selfishness, and while believing prayer holds Him, believing thanksgiving binds Him.
Give to God all the praise, and give it to Him now. From His bounty all this goodness flows, and this answered prayer becomes a double cause for prayer still. Go to your chamber and bless Him who has dealt so bountifully with you, and let the constant tenor of your life be adoring gratitude, love and reverence to the Most High. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
