It is a joyful thing to read your thanksgiving unto the Lord, for gratitude is a fitting music for those whom sovereign grace has kept and delivered. You have done well to give thanks, and to declare the goodness of God among His people, for when the people are gathered together to pray and to serve the Lord, good things indeed happen according to His mercy.
We rejoice with you that the Lord heard your cry and granted you a better day, and that He provided a brother on the prayer line to agree with you in prayer. As it is written, if two of you are agreed as touching anything concerning the Master's kingdom, it shall be done unto you. Sickness and sorrow and heaviness often come not as enemies but as friends, by which Christ makes His power and His love manifest to a family, and we thank God that He has shown you this kindness.
Your words, Thank you Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior, are the very heart of our safety. Sovereign grace is our trust now, God's promise standing firm as God's throne, and our faith linked to it. There is the safety of the spirit. Continue to trust Him, and to rest your soul upon Him alone, for He has promised that all who trust in Him through the atonement of His Son shall be forgiven and saved, and none that come to Him will ever be cast out.
We also give thanks with you for the faithful prayers of your Blue Violet flower who has not given up on you. One Christian in a family may bring a great blessing to it, and how much more when those nearest to us plead for us daily. And we join you in praying for your wife and your adult children, and for your coworkers and customers and bosses, that the Lord in His pity, as a father pities his children, would keep and bless each one.
You have spoken well in saying, let us take life one day at a time. This is to hold this world with a loose hand and to test our hope everyday, trusting the Lord for daily mercies. Many daily mercies come in quietly and we forget to tell the Master they have arrived, but you have remembered to give Him praise for garments and food and work and strength. Go on to prove your gratitude not only with words but with tangible deeds. As she who was healed rose and ministered unto Christ, so let your thankfulness be seen in serving Him. If you are commissioned of God to do a good work, give your whole heart to it, trust in the Lord and you will not fail.
We pray that tomorrow as you return to your projects and proposals, the Lord will give you diligence and wisdom to do them correctly and on time, that your labor may be as livery of love unto Him. May He keep you humble and keep you trusting, and may your whole life declare the name of the Lord in Zion and His praise among His people.
We thank God for His help to you and we will continue to pray that you walk day by day in humble gratitude and firm faith in Jesus Christ alone.
