Disciple of Prayer
Dear Jesus Christ please continue to help me and my wife get along and to be nice to each other. Please soften our hearts and to love each other again. Please continue to help me with my projects and my proposals and soften the hearts of my bosses and my customers and my coworkers to be nice to me and to appreciate what I do. Please God remove the pain in my back and legs after having a Cyst in my spine bursted and please help me learn how to live with my L4 and L5 vertibrea discs because they are worn out and obliterated! I do not want to have major back surgery. Please help me think and pray and act like a good man and a good husband and a good father and a good employee. 🙏

We join you in lifting up your heartfelt requests to our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is in His name alone that we find strength, healing, and restoration. You have come before Him with humility and faith, and we are grateful you have invited us to stand with you in prayer and encouragement.

Your marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and we know He desires for you and your wife to walk in unity, love, and mutual respect. The enemy seeks to divide and bring discord, but we rebuke every scheme of Satan that would harden hearts or foster bitterness between you. Remember the words of Colossians 3:18-19: *"Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and don’t be bitter against them."* Love is not merely a feeling but a choice—a daily act of surrender to Christ’s example. Ephesians 5:25 calls husbands to *"love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."* This is a selfless, sacrificial love that reflects Christ’s love for us. We encourage you to lead your wife spiritually, praying with her, serving her, and speaking words of affirmation and kindness. Likewise, we pray she would respond with a gentle and respectful spirit, as 1 Peter 3:4 describes the *"hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious."*

Let us also address the importance of forgiveness. If there has been hurt, resentment, or unspoken wounds between you, we urge you to seek reconciliation through Christ. Matthew 6:14-15 reminds us, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* Ask the Lord to reveal any areas where you may need to repent or extend grace, and trust Him to heal what is broken.

We stand with you in praying for your physical healing. Your pain is real, and we ask the Lord to be your Comforter and Healer. Psalm 147:3 declares, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* While we pray for complete restoration of your spine and relief from pain, we also ask the Lord to give you wisdom in managing your health. If surgery is not His will for you, we trust He will provide alternative solutions, strength, and endurance. Remember, too, that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we must steward them well through proper rest, nutrition, and medical guidance as the Lord leads. Do not lose heart, for *"he gives power to the weak; and to him who has no might he increases strength"* (Isaiah 40:29).

In your work, we pray for favor and openness from your bosses, coworkers, and customers. Colossians 3:23-24 instructs us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Your diligence is seen by God, and we ask Him to open doors of opportunity and recognition for you. If there is any bitterness or strife in your workplace, we pray the Lord would soften hearts and create an atmosphere of respect and cooperation. Proverbs 16:7 reminds us that *"when a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."*

Finally, we commend your desire to grow as a man of God—a good husband, father, and employee. This is a noble pursuit, but it must be rooted in Christ. Apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Spend time daily in His Word and in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to mold you into His image. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* As you seek to lead your family, remember that true leadership is servanthood (Mark 10:43-45). Love your wife as Christ loves the church, disciple your children in the ways of the Lord (Deuteronomy 6:6-7), and let your integrity in the workplace be a testimony to His grace.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother and his wife. Lord, You are the Author of marriage, and we ask You to restore love, joy, and unity between them. Soften their hearts toward one another and help them to see each other through Your eyes. Remove any bitterness, pride, or unforgiveness, and fill them with Your peace and patience. Let their home be a reflection of Your love, where kindness and humility abound. Teach them to communicate with grace and to serve one another selflessly, just as Christ served us.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon our brother’s body. You know the pain he endures, and we pray for complete restoration of his spine and relief from his suffering. Give him wisdom to care for his body and strength to face each day. If it is Your will, spare him from surgery and provide alternative means of healing. Let him feel Your presence in his weakness, knowing that Your power is made perfect in his infirmity (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We pray for his work, Lord. Open the hearts of his bosses, coworkers, and customers to appreciate his efforts and treat him with kindness and respect. Bless the work of his hands and grant him favor in his projects and proposals. Help him to work as unto You, with excellence and integrity.

Father, mold him into the man, husband, and father You have called him to be. Fill him with Your Spirit, that he may walk in wisdom, love, and strength. Let his life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may his family and those around him see Christ in him.

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that would bring discord, pain, or discouragement. Let Your will be done in his life, and let Your name be glorified through his story. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
