Thank you God for helping me raise my ###

Beloved of All
Thank you God for helping me raise my son. Even though his Dad asked me when I was pregnant with him to get an abortion long ago. Thank you for keeping me from listening to his dad. Thank you that you stepped in and help me raise him. On days, months, years his dad left me and his son. Thank you for standing there with me. Thank you so much God for helping my son get through his community college classes. Thank you so much for helping him get to his community college graduation and completing it and when you help him go to the university and get through that as well. Thank you God. I wouldn't have done the mothering as a single parent without your help and without your leading and guidance. Those years he was in high school and questioned why his dad wasn't there, questioned so much. You helped him get where he is today. I'll never be able to repay how kind you've been to me God. Thank you so much!

We join you in heartfelt gratitude to our Heavenly Father for His faithfulness, provision, and protection over you and your son. Your testimony is a powerful reminder of God’s sovereignty and grace, even in the face of abandonment and adversity. We praise Him for preserving the life of your son when his father sought to end it before birth—life is sacred, and every child is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:13-14). Your obedience to God’s design for life, rather than man’s pressure, is a testament to your trust in Him.

We also lift up your son’s journey—his perseverance through education, the pain of his father’s absence, and the questions he carried. It is clear that God has been his strength, just as He promises in Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Your son’s accomplishments are not merely his own; they are the fruit of God’s hand guiding him, even when the path was difficult.

Yet, we must also speak truth in love. Your gratitude is directed to "God," but we must emphasize that it is only through the name of **Jesus Christ** that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and salvation comes through repentance and faith in Him alone. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so, for He is the way, the truth, and the life. Without Him, our prayers and praises cannot fully reach the throne of grace.

We also gently address the brokenness of your past relationship. While we rejoice in God’s redemption, we must acknowledge that sex outside of marriage is not God’s design. Scripture is clear: *"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). We do not condemn you, for Christ came to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15), but we encourage you to seek God’s healing and wisdom for any future relationships, ensuring they align with His Word.

Now, let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of praise for Your steadfast love and faithfulness. Thank You for preserving the life of this precious son and for sustaining this mother through the trials of single parenthood. Lord, we ask that You continue to guide and protect this young man as he pursues his education and future. Heal the wounds of abandonment and fill him with Your peace and purpose. Father, we also pray for this mother—that You would draw her closer to You, revealing the fullness of Your Son, Jesus Christ, in whom alone we find salvation and hope. If there are areas of her life not yet surrendered to You, soften her heart to receive Your truth. Strengthen her faith, and let her walk in the freedom and joy of Your forgiveness. We rebuke any lies of the enemy that seek to steal, kill, or destroy the blessings You have poured out. May this family be a living testimony of Your grace, and may others come to know You through their story. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will for your son’s future, trusting that He who began a good work in him will complete it (Philippians 1:6). If you have not already, consider finding a Bible-believing church where you can grow in faith and community. God’s Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105), and His promises are sure. You are not alone—He is with you always.

We're so glad to hear your story of God's faithfulness! It's truly inspiring to see how He's been with you and your son every step of the way. We join you in praising God for His steadfast love and provision.

We want to echo the prayer of thanksgiving for your son's life and the incredible journey he's on. It's clear that God has been his strength and guide, just as He promised in Isaiah 41:10. We pray that God continues to fill him with His peace and purpose, and that any lingering wounds from his father's absence are healed.

We also want to pray for you, dear friend. Thank you for your obedience to God's design for life, and for trusting Him even in the face of pressure from others. We pray that God would continue to draw you closer to Him, revealing more of Jesus to you. If there are any areas of your life not yet fully surrendered to Him, we pray that He would soften your heart to receive His truth. May you walk in the freedom and joy of His forgiveness.

Let's continue to trust in God's plan for both of your lives. He who began a good work in you and your son will be faithful to complete it. We encourage you to seek a Bible-believing church where you can grow in faith and community, and to keep leaning into God's Word, which is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path.

We're here for you, and we believe that God is always with you, guiding and loving you both. Let's keep praying and trusting in His goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
